I recently went to the north side alotaburger in Taos NM. After ordering I watched the lady cooking handle a new raw load of burgers. After putting them in the fridge she continued putting cold products like lettuce on people's orders. I asked her to change her gloves but her and the manager said she didn't have too and she didn't. After I said this the all started speaking in Spanish how I was a trouble maker and just an azz for telling them this. In my opinion no o e should eat here. Unless you want to get sick.

2.5/5 Stars. This location is closed on Mondays and is only open from 7 - 2 PM. They also only serve burgers and fries from 11 onwards, which means half the time they're open, they don't even have burgers at a BURGER place.Most of the staff are unpleasant and will bad mouth you in Spanish. If you try to make small talk or say hello, they will ignore you and cuss you out behind your back because they think you can't understand them. I've been called ugly, poor, gringo, etc.The only saving grace is the food is quite good and there's a few people on staff who are genuinely kind, but they're bogged down by the others.

We did not receive order we asked for. Calling to reorder was a nightmare..we wanted a lota Frito pie deal. Kept telling me burritos are only served before 11. After several attempts I gave up and hung up.

The burger New Mexico was more than I expected. So large. I wasn't able finish all of it.But, on the other hand, the fries were the worst I've ever tasted. They were extremely dry as if they had been on a tray for a long time. I wasn't able to eat even a small piece.
They have a rude woman working the cash register... I have been sworn at in Spanish as I was leaving the dining room when nobody else was in the store multiple times... The people cooking are

This was the first and last time I’ll go to a Lottaburger. The inside was chaotic. There were angry customers because they are getting handed wrong orders. Cooks were arguing with customers. The inside smelled like burnt grease. I can’t complain about the New Mexico style Lottaburger that I got. It was actually good. But the “seasoned” fries were just terrible. They resembled seasoned fries, with their color, but not only did they taste unseasoned. I didn’t even taste any salt.

I have been functionally unable to buy food from this restaurant for nearly a year. It's either shutting down early or closed every time I want to eat there. And I'm giving this place a buffer of hours. It's not like I'm showing up at six to get dinner, an hour before closing. I'm showing up at four or five sometimes. Every couple months I try again. Either I'm extremely unlucky, or they are closed that often. It just seems the employees are stealing time from the owner at this point. Because they'll be fully staffed and stay in the facility the entire time their closed, even after the official closing time, on their phones looking at arriving customers locked out. I feel bad for the franchisee really. I used to be a regular. It's close to my house! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at one point.The only reason this is not a one star review is it's made me appreciate cooking for myself. And made me figure out I can just cook a ribeye for the same price. As the time savings of paying somebody to cook my food have been nearly zero for the past three years. I can't even get the food itself now.
