Wow. Driving cross country and ended up in Taos.... asked the waitress for the one of the popular specials .... Tuesdays special is ?. As I was riding solo I sat at the super cool "counter" overlooking the kitchen... and near an open window ... quick.... friendly....and freaking fantastic!

Great food, if you like an upscale Taco Bell. The restaurant was very full. We ordered our food, and I think it arrived within five minutes. All ingredients had to be premade and not fresh. No vegan options, except a vegetarian bean burrito without cheese. Suspicious that there was lard in the beans. Our friends ordered plates with shrimp that must have been precooked. Everything was very salty, too. Definitely would not recommend or go back.Vegetarian options: No actual vegan options, just a “vegetarian burrito” that was basically filled with nothing but beans.

This place is awesome, the food was absolutely delish and the service was phenomenal. Highly recommend. Had tamale, Chile relleno, taco plate with beans and posole. Everything was perfection.

Great option for authentic New Mexican. My favorite is “”los colores”.

Wonderful little place! Looking at reviews I think we got very lucky being able to sit down immediately. The blue corn enchiladas are delicious. I loved the red, green, and caribe chile on the Los Colores. I gave it a 4/5 on food because the food was, strangely, not very hot. The waitress sat the food down and wanted us about the hot plates, and while I can't say the food was COLD, it was only just barely warm.It was still delicious, admittedly. The special dessert of avocado lime pie was amazing. Not as sweet as many pies are, and it worked perfectly. I recommend.

The only issue is that it was jam packed and waitresses were really busy. The food was great though. I really really liked the green chili.

Lackluster enchiladas. The beef taco in my combo plate has barely any meat in it.

Very very yum, cozy, lively place. We were just staying in Taos a couple nights. We chose this spot based on Google reviews, and we wanted New Mexican food. We still didn’t know Orlando’s was such an institution - there was a line! Luckily we arrived right ahead of their 5pm opening and even though we were a bit down the line we were seated in the first wave. They have a nice, large gravel patio with a fire and chairs for waiting, and the crowd was a fun bunch so it would be the fun kind of wait. 10/10 highly recommend.

Know before you go: apparently they get really busy. If you meet people here, wait in your car until your whole group arrives, because the hostess will hassle you every few minutes, even if there are many other open tables. The food was good, but I absolutely didn't feel welcome.
