I got severe food poisoning from eating lunch here. My mouth felt weirdly inflamed or irritated right after I ate it (chicken sandwich and some green juice). Now going on 30 hours of diarrhea and not out of the woods yet. I really didn't want to have to report this but felt a duty to the community cuz I'm sick as a dog.

The food at this restaurant is top notch! Breakfast burrito to die for; add their pesto. And the hash browns - YUM!! Highly recommend when you’re in the area!

Ventured in with our group of 7 adults & 4 young children. Pleasant and accommodating staff seated us on the patio. Best lunch we had in the Taos area! Fresh salads & sandwiches with large portions. Came back for take-out a second day.

Cool concept. The americano was fantastic. The Italian soda was great and something different for non-coffee drinkers or kids!

A group of three women arrived in town after the lunch hour and wanted a bite before visiting local shops. We saw Sol Market, walked in, and headed to an open table. The woman behind the countered shouted “You can’t just sit anywhere!” There was no sign saying to please wait to be seated. We apologized and said we did not realize we needed to be seated by someone. We were then told in a very loud voice, “No restaurant allows people to just come in and sit wherever.” Stares from other guests. Good grief. No chance I was spending money in that spot. We quietly left. We shopped a bit before deciding to find a different spot so asked a woman operating a gift shop where we should go. We explained our experience at Sol Market and the woman was unsurprised and said they treat the staff even worse. We found a delightful lunch a few yards away. How does this place stay in business?!

Try this on your way to the ski slopes from Taos. My husband, the coffee connoisseur, rated their drip coffee the best he’s ever had. All of the food was organic, super presentation and super tasty. A great selection of smoothies and pastries, including gluten-free ones. We came back twice during our three day stay here. A little hard to find but take the first left as you come into Arroyo Seco.

High quality food super tasty. First of all the eight different fresh made juices. We had the Immunity with fresh turmeric, ginger, lemon, orange and the Happy Heart Beet with beets, celery, cucumber apple and lemon. The breakfast we can recommend: The Vladdy and the Taos Toast

We have lived in Taos forever (or almost) and this is our first visit to Sol Food. I've been wanting to go for a while, but the pandemic has kept us in mostly. Anyway, what a great place to have breakfast (or lunch). From the service to the food, it was all fantastic. And what a cute place. They have an amazing assortment of fresh pastries, which we didn't try because the breakfast was huge. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
