“We both had the jerk chicken meal which came with rice with a curry coconut chcickpea sauce and my dining partner also had the pea soup. Everything tasted absolutely AMAZING!!!! The chicken was very flavourful but not excruciatingly spicy like some I've experienced. The sauce on the rice and the soup were definite standouts and definitely worth a 225km trip back to get more!”

“I ordered the ribs with two sides while I was in town for work without realizing that it was Valentine’s Day. There were two young guys working alone in a very busy restaurant. My order wasn’t ready when I arrived but it wasn’t long before it was. The food I received was excellent and despite them being slammed, everything was cooked perfectly and very fresh. I will be back!”

“We were looking for a place to eat since we were passing by and super hungry. Local recommended this spot. I didn't take any pictures as we gobled everything up. The food was really good! Everything was fresh and delicious. The lunch portions are quite large and are good price. This place will be our 1st stop next time we are in the area. Totally recommend!!”

“Called a larger order in with a few specific requests. Everytime we travel back to NB, we bring donairs for our family! This was the first time we'd ordered from Freddie's and I was so happy with our food. I called in an hour early asking for it to be ready at 3.45. I arrived a few minutes early and the gentleman was just finishing our order. He had everything labeled in different bags for the different made donairs. Not only were they perfectly made, they were super delicious too!! As displaced blue noses, we don't mind even a badly made donair. But these traveled 3h to NB and were still so freaking great!!! Freddie's has certainly become our new go to spot!”

“Cute little cafe inside the Dayle's building! They serve hot comfort food (daily specials) and great coffee. There is no AC so it's a little stuffy inside on a hot summer day. They don't take debit or credit - only cash or e-transfer.”

“This was our first time at Frank & Gino’s (always wanted to try it after seeing their sign along the highway). The menu had such a great selection we had a hard time deciding what to order. The blooming onion was cooked to perfection - crispy, tasty and tender onion petals. Our meals arrived promptly and were hot and delicious although we couldn’t eat it all because we had filled up on the blooming onion, Caesar salads and warm bread with whipped butter. We enjoyed the food and friendly service - we’ll definitely be back again to try some of the other dishes.”

I’ve been here three times now, I always have such a good experience and the food is always SO fresh and the chef does such an excellent job.
