We approached the door 15 mins before the closing time and they stared out the window at us and turned the open sign to closed.... Kind of crazy.

Decor seemed dated, food was mediocre, not a great menu choice.

Love the cocktails, and the lemon pavlova was exactly what I wanted. The presentation was gorgeous, as well. One of my favourite spots to go for a special treat.

Just read a horrendous story on a website regarding the owners of this establishment keeping the tips and not giving to servers . Shame on you !!!

Don’t order the charcuterie board you literally get 6 blueberries 3 olives, 6 salami slices and a bare amount of cheese with rock hard bread…. Nothing else was really worth it either they were out of chips so they offered pita the waitress was yelled at and then brought out crackers. The lava cake didn’t ooze and the sticky toffee pudding was dry. Just bad food all around. We had to flag down the waitress every time we wanted something. Not worth the money

New York Cheesecake topped with caramel sauce was delicious. Very friendly staff and the service was great. Highly recommend for late afternoon dessert and coffee.

I ordered a chaceuterie board and found it really tiny for the price, and it didn't even taste good, the meats seemed stale. The pulled pork biscuits were still delicious at least. My tap water had crumbs in it and the table was visibly dirty.

I'm not sure how this location stays open. Most nights, it's almost completely empty. Also, since they opened (the service was amazing at first), it has gone severely downhill with service. 3 of us were there for well over 2 hours. An hour and 20 minutes of which was spent waiting for a drink or food. My friend ordered a Black forrest drink, and it took over 30 minutes!!! Inexcusable. It was incredibly slow service, and it was only 1/3 filled with patrons at the most. For food: don't ever order the chicootery board.. we decided to try it out as we often make them at home, and we're disappointed. The cheese was dried, the meat had dried edges, and the "bread" was burnt and tasted like burnt olive oil. It was absolutely disgusting and NOT worth the $25 tag. The beef stew (which is really a soup) was delicious, as are the biscuits as always.Drinks: delicious but took an excessively long time to come. 2 chocolate martinis were 30 dollars. Very over priced but good.Desserts: When they first opened, they would add a bit of whip cream to the side of a dessert we frequently order, this time, they didn't. So when we asked how come there is no cream, the owner said they never put that there... that she's owned it for 7 years. To which we replied that it was always put on the side of the desert in the past, and then the owner replied, "Well, whip cream is expensive. "... I'd say that for an over $12 dollar price tag after tax, it wouldn't have killed her (or the restaurant) to add a bit of cream to make a guest happy.. we weren't expecting 24k gold flakes... even just to apologize for the extremely long wait for every single thing we ordered.Lastly, my mother asked for a straw for her glass of Sprite, so the waitress leans over, grabs an unpacked straw from the top (where you would drink from) with her bare, unwashed hands and passes it over like she had no idea how much filth is on her hands from serving tables and taking money!!!!!!Also, the friendly "do you have any plans for the rest of this evening?" While we pay for our order after over 2 hours of the worst service we have ever gotten is played out and a little too late to prepend to care about what our plans are... most places that acknowledge that the wait times are ridiculous would offer a dessert on the house or whip cream in this case.

Both times I've been to this location, the waitstaff was kind and prompt, and the desserts are decadent and sweet. The second time was with a larger group (6) and they easily and comfortably accommodated our party. The cocktails and inventive and well made, worth stopping in for small bites and yummy desserts.
