I loved Brightwood and their beer BUT I was shocked when I came in today to absolutely no beer selection. My favorite beers are no longer on tap and there were only 4 options when there are normally 8 or 9 options. Extremely disappointed ☹️

Love this place however their beer selection went downhill. They use to have the best selection and now just a few and none that I loved!!!! What happened!?!

Just meh, we've been at breweries over the last two days in Halifax and Dartmouth (visiting) and this one by far was not amazing, at all. No atmosphere. One person on staff who was uninterested and boring, couldn't share much on the beer. Everything about this place just feels like an after thought. It's just boring.

Great little Brewery in Dartmouth! The atmosphere is very calm and inviting. Staff members were kind and accommodating. A good variety of beer, with lots of unique flavors. The location is wonderful, being right downtown in Dartmouth. I'll definitely be back!

This brewery was a fantastic spot to hit. Even for a Sunday night there were still some people here, and it was nice to see they have high chairs too if you need one. Pretty sure I saw some cool people playing board games here, not sure if they brought them but I love that idea. And this place partners with Downtown Dartmouth Stone Pizza, just up the road. Pizza and beer. The best combination...ever. Being in NS you have to order the classic donair pizza, but be warned that donair meat has some fire and spicy heat! Dipped in sweet donair sauce and it'll rock your socks. But surprisingly The Dill Pickle Pizza was an ever bigger hit. The sheer amount of pickles was crazy! And cheesey for sure! With that hit of dill spice on top this pizza was divine and delightful! Not too overly powerful, but so good I want to eat it again! You have to order a large pizza and get it split so you can try more right!?Now onto the beers!! We got a flight of: Portland St- Porter 5.5% - really good before the pizza arrives. I wouldn't say this one pairs with pizza so drink it up pre-food arrivalMade me Blush - Rose IPA 6.8% - their highest percentage but so tasty even as an IPA. I would say the sweetest one they have on tap probably next to the cider that we couldn't try cause they ran out. Cole Harbour - Irish Red 5.0% - a nice redLost Time - Hazy IPA 6.0% - not so much our jam but hey we only 'lost time' a little bitParking is nearby. Attached is the Lake City Cidery, and those bathrooms do have a baby change table.

My friend and I went to bingo on Tuesday night and I cannot say enough good things! So much fun! Free bingo with prizes and build your own nachos? Yes please. 1000 percent will be returning!

Great service, original beer selection and the opportunity to order pizza from a favorite neighboring pizzeria. The staff alone are enough to want to come back but the beer will make you stay.

Great atmosphere, local music, Bingo Night, Trivia Night, Amazing Beer and incredible food (though we might be a bit biased on that point), what more could you ask for?
