Terrible. I think my ginger beef was cooked last week. So soggy and pale in colour.

I went to eat here a lot during the earlier hours of the day. It was very quiet and pleasant, and the food was fantastic. The waiters were very chatty and interested in learning a little about us. Although I do not live in the area, this restaurant and the food are one of the major things I miss and will revisit when I am back in the area.

Jst came for a quick meal with family. Randomly tried the bean veg sprout chowmein, then fried rice with veggies. It was best ever tasty veg meal for us. Spring roll though bit expensive for the quantity but was worth trying.Service was awesome. Great homely place with such positive and inquisitive environment. We ended up ordering 3 more dishes from menu . They were all so delectable neither very spicy nor mild.

Hello my partner & I visited the Dartmouth location for lunch just to be extremely disappointed when we came home. First of all, for almost $30, we received more rice than anything else. The ribs looked sad and lacked flavour. Resembling the texture of carpet. Chicken balls were mostly dough not chicken, watered down “sweet & sour” sauce. Fried rice was decent though I only noticed that there was approximately 3 pieces of chicken in the entire entree. Rice was the only thing cooked well??After eating our very sad lunch, my partner felt a little uneasy so we decided to look at reviews. Was very surprised to see that this place was well known for the “explosive diarrhea” & food poisoning. Now we are praying we survive this evening. Should’ve noticed the 2 caucasian males working service as the first red flag. Considering that I am half Chinese, my chinese mother wouldve cried if I brought her here. Sorry but never coming back, pls do better.

My spouse and I, came for a quick bite . Took out combo 8, fairly expensive for the amount u get. More rice than anything else for the price . Ribs were dry and looked 2 days old. Chicken balls were fluffy but felt like not enough meat. Sweet and sour didn’t really taste like sweet and sour sauce. Tasted as if it was watered down. Bland. Didn’t know this place was known for explosive diarrhea. Staying at home for the rest of the evening as a precaution. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. Service was great and fast tho. Personal shoutout with guy with black nail polish. Excellent customer service .

I love their egg rolls best in the city but not as good as the double Dragon in New Minas. Fried rice was way overpriced but acceptable in flavour.

I will not return just not very good......my opinion based on my take out experience. If you want good Chinese house of lamb in Moncton nb is great. Halifax is just a lot of hype.

Stopped by briefly for a quick bite. Egg roll was good I enjoyed the plum sauce but I have no idea what the filling inside was. Atmosphere reminds me of an authentic Chinese restaurant. Waitstaff was extremely quick but we were also the only ones in the restaurant.

I ORDERD THROUGH SKIP THE DISHES PAID 43.00 FOR 2 EGGS ROLLS CHICKEN FRIED RICE AND ONE SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN BALLS. SOON AS IT CAME IT REAKED OF BEING BURNT OPENED IT UP THE RICE IS BLACK AND FULL OF BLACK BURNT SPECS. IT TASTES SO SO SO BAD MY DOG WONT EAT IT :( THE CHICKEN BALLS THE CHICKEN ARE HARD LITTLE LUMPS CANT EVEN CUT WITH A SHARP KNIFE AND THE 2 EGGS ROLLS ARE HARD AS ROCKS ON ENDS. SHAME ON THEM COOK BURNING FOOD AND SENDING IT OUT. SHOULD BE MADE TO EAT IT THEMSELVES :( SO NOW IM STARVING NO FOOD NO MONEY.

Went for dinner, food was cold and when I asked for another plate that was hot the server was denied by kitchen staff. The young gentleman who was serving us tried his best.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times and had fairly good experiences, but got incredibly sick last weekend after eating here, and am still ill. After reading similar reviews I felt compelled to post. Obviously something is going wrong in the kitchen.

Honestly not bad.The ordered a few dishes, egg rolls, hot and sour soup and a black bean beef dish. The egg roll was good, well filled and reasonably priced. The roll was crispy but not hard. The hot and sour soup was excellent. Had BBQ pork slices in it and lots of wood ear. It had a good tang! The black bean beef stir fry. This was ok, the ratio of peppers and onion to beef was a bit much. The portion size was good but really could use more beef and less peppers. The black bean sauce was excellent though, salty good blackbean!Service was top notch! They were quick and courteous, and exceptionally thoughtful. They brought us spare soup bowels to share and seperate plates for us to share the dishes.Interior was very good, felt like an older chinese restaurant, but otherwise clean and well spaced. The fish tank at the centre of the restaurant was also a nice touch.Parking, it's all street parking in the area but that is par for the course as it's downtown.
