I’d give 0 stars if I could.It was my grandfather’s birthday so I decided to take him to the Mic Mac tavern, (as I thought would be a great place and first time there for him). It was the worst service I have ever had.. I’m also a server so I know what the expectations are.. and this was so disappointing. I made a reservation (even specifically said it was a birthday) we got there around 8:50pm knowing they close at 9:30pm we made sure to know what we wanted to have consideration for the workers..the guy server didn’t show no interest of being there and serving us at all… almost seemed mad.We were done eating around 935ish and I asked if I could get the birthday dessert for my grandfather and he absolutely looked pissed and said the kitchen is closed..I said oh… I said It was a birthday 3 times.. he goes and ask if we still can get it .. comes back and said yes we can .. not listing off anything .. so I had to ask what is there I could get ? (As I thought it was only a specific dessert for birthdays) he said I could have anything beside deep fried icecream..I just said I’ll take the brownie without the icecream to try a maybe make it easier for him .. he brings the brownie after 10mins WITHOUT A CANDLE….. I had to ask for a candle … at this point I felt like I was being a pain to him..So I asked for the bill… why I tipped him $25 I don’t know but I felt like I was accommodating him… I wish I went somewhere else on his special day.

It has been a long time since I've been there. Had reservations for 8 people for 6pm on a Saturday evening. We had to wait 25 minutes to get our table, not happy. We ordered then had to wait 25 minutes for our meal, so busy as usual. I ordered the steak and ceaser salad with mushrooms. Well, it was the best steak I have had in a very long time and the ceaser salad was perfect, didn't need any steak sauce for this meal. The waiter was fantastic, sorry can't remember his name. Even though the wait was a pain it was well worth every penny. I will be going there again and probably soon

Nice place and cheap, you get what you pay for but it’s actually pretty good overall. Great service, the last time we went our waitress was stef and she was so friendly and enjoyable.

I have had a lot of battered haddock and scallops in my time and I have NEVER had any as good as I did today. The fish was so fresh and the scallops perfection. My son had steak and it was also amazing as was my mom's salmon. I cant give it more stars or I would have. The service was amazing as well..our server was so friendly and efficient. I cant wait to go back

Food is always good, sometimes the steak is saltier tasting than other times but that's a minor complaint. It's always busy because the food is that good. I wish they had more ribs every single time I've gone they are sold out.
