The food was good, but the flavours were pretty basic. The fish cakes, while tasty, didn't have a lot of flavour to them and weren't worth $22. The smash burger and fries were also pretty typical and basic, and not really worth the money

Wait staff seems disinterested. We ordered fish and chips and burgers and chips. Ketchup and vinegar were not brought or offered. No offer to refill drinks. Food was good. Music was good.

Garrett Mason was unreal. Great food and vibes.

Our first visit and we sat at the bar and enjoyed watching everyone and the beautiful local art. We ate our meal right there at the bar. The entertainment was spectacular!<<. Thanks. We will be back. C. Fougere

The place is busy so it's obviously well-loved by patrons - Garrett Mason was fabulous - but the overall noise levels with people talking is very loud and uncomfortable. It's not pleasant to have to yell across a table to talk to someone before the band even starts.

My friends and I had a great time at the ceilidh. The music was awesome and everyone enjoyed the food. I kept changing my reservation to add more people and the staff was very accommodating. We were well looked after all evening.

Love their chicken. Don’t love how every time I order it’s made different.. No sauce/ way too much sauce. OR all the sauce on the side.

The four of us stopped in to try the beer and a meal. Ended up having excellent Oysters and music from 4 talented ladies. Disappointed to find out there was a cover charge added to the bill. We had no idea. On the way out we noticed in small letters the cover charge. No complaints about the show, you just shouldn't be surprised when you look at your bill.

Dirty bathroom and staff were rude.

This place wouldn’t stamp our good cheer passport. And the guy was kind of a douche about it.

We were there for entertainment. The Culls were an excellent band and our server Nick was great. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to listen to local music in a great atmosphere, will definitely be back!

Decent beer. The food was not all that great and the ambience was pedestrian. Friendly service though.

Poor atmosphere, poor service, okay food. The lighting in the venue is horrible. After sunset it's dark enough that any seat not directly under one of the dimly lit overhead lights will have trouble reading the menu. I had no idea if the nachos I had received had the pulled pork on them or not unless I pulled out a flashlight.Service was slow. Was it busy? Yes. Was it known that it was going to be busy? Yes, this was a planned event. We arrived before it was busy, it still took nearly ten minutes to get an initial drink order in. By the time we did multiple soft drinks and beers listed on the menu weren't available.Flights took so long to arrive from the bar that everything was room temperature by the time it was on the table.Soft drinks were consistently flat.Despite asking three times for more water to be brought to the table to help combat the uncomfortably warm venue, the server never brought any.Food orders were submitted and, despite appetizers being ordered as appetizers, everything was submitted to the kitchen to come out at the same time. The deep fried cheese curds were flavourless mush. The nachos, while listed as coming with hot sauce and sour cream, certainly don't indicate that the hot sauce and sour cream will be poured all over the pile of nachos and not served on the side. Not a fun surprise. As noted above, I wouldn't have known there was pulled pork on them had I not pulled out a light to check. The event was meant to be a ceilidh, and while the band which was brought in were top notch, they were practically inaudible in the small venue. When asked to split the bills, the server disregard the instruction and combined bills which shouldn't have been combined.Overall, an entirely disappointing evening and I see no reason to return to the venue in the future.

Did some mid-afternoon drinks here for my bday! Had an amazing time! The staff were super friendly and attentive. Joel was great, he definitely helped make it a wonderful bday! He also put up with my grandfathers shenanigans, and that takes a lot of patience. :) we shopped in the gift shop too and it was the same amazing service. Everyone was just very pleasant overall.

Unfriendly staff. Horrible communication skills. I walked in at 6:15pm with a group of 8. The hostess sat us and let us know there was live music at 8pm and we would need to pay $10 cover. The music started at 7pm which I thought was them warming up and the staff would let us know at 8pm that we would need to pay cover or we’d have to finish up and leave. A few of us ordered food around 7:15pm which took a while to get there, so by the time we received it it was close to 8pm. No one came over so I thought they were being polite and letting us finish the food and drinks we ordered. At that point the band was sitting with their friends/family at a table close to the stage and not even playing anymore. I asked for my bill and when the waiter hands the machine over says he's added the 20% gratuity to the machine already. And the $10 cover was added to the bill. When leaving I questioned the amount that was charged for gratuity and cover and he said its normal practice to add for groups of 8 or more, which I would have been fine with if it was told to us prior to sitting down and ordering. And said the hostess told us the incorrect time. During the conversation he also tried to tell me we were informed about the 20% gratuity which none of us were so essentially calling me a liar.
