This was a good place for a family dinner. The portions were large, the prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly and the service was good. The mussels were good. The bacon wrapped scallops were excellent--the scallops were not overdone and the bacon was crisp. The Digby scallops in garlic butter were very flavorful. For a seafood restaurant the Chicken Parm and the lasagna were also very good. The ice cream tasted home made and was delicious.
We ordered the Scallops because that is what Digby is known for. The scallops were good but not overwhelming in any way. The rest of the meal which was made up of carrots, turnips and rice pilaf was mediocre. It took a long time for us to be served after being seated right away.

The food and service was great! The atmosphere is what you would expect in Digby; a little country feeling dinner. We both got a lobster roll and chowder and there was no complaints at all! Both were amazing and fresh. I got the carrot cake for desert and it was by far the best I’ve had in years. Highly recommend
