Seafood chowder was good for Nova Scotia standards (not great as photos from other reviews of Nova Scotia's best chowders) but tasty and would recommend. Fish fry was just ok, fries and slaw: the fish was like a frozen processed deep-fried and would not recommend. The crepe chicken & mushroom was good, also their quiche with salad, the red-beet salad could be recommended if they switched the beets they used to chunks not canned circles (poor presentation of cafeteria style food)....read full review
Restaurant is located at The Inn on The Lake. We made reservations and were seated in front of the large fireplace. A very beautiful location. The server was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant had tables closed and signs to encourage and follow COVID rules. Everything was spotless. We had nachos to start and they were very good with lots of toppings. This was one of the best meals we had on our Nova Scotia, PEI vacation. We saw the sign from the highway as it was near the airport. We decided to go for dinner and we so glad we did. We had the scallop dinner, and a baked halibut special. For dessert, we enjoyed the most delicious blueberry shortcake. Our server was friendly, super fun and definitely a very hard worker. We wish we’d sernit the night before as we would have eater here two nights.
