Seven peppers is the best Middle Eastern (Syrian) food in Halifax. But it is about more than the food, it is also about the kindness shown by the owner. He makes a huge effort to remember his customers, ask how you are doing and make you feel valued. They also always offer a free bowl of hearty, lemony, lentil soup. Another gesture of kindness that I am very grateful for. And because I am boring I always go for the falafel wrap. I hope to be more interesting soon and mix it up with some lovely chicken shawarma or biryani. But my trustee falafel wrap never fails me. It is a nice balance of crispy, well seasoned falafel, loads of fresh veg, acidity from the turnip, garlicky sauce. It is simple, well done, and it is everything a falafel should be. And the portions are big so thats never a worry. Seven peppers will always have my heart. Every time I go my faith in humanity is restored.

Absolutely worst Mediterranean food I've had. Paid $25 for next to nothing, and honestly can't even say it's shawarma when it has zero flavor, the garlic sauce is awful and I watched raw garlic so i ordered extra!! ...but this tastes off, store bought, awful.The owners are rude, sexist, and customer service does not exist for them, they are right, you are wrong.McDonald's makes better food. No joke.

Absolutely delicious food, easily the best schwarma in town, service was fast and friendly. Was given some lentil soup while waiting which was also delicious. Portion sizes are perfect, pricing is reasonable.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options had their own spot on the menu.Parking: Great parking available on Quinpool and in the Plaza parking lot.
Once, I ordered a shawarma plate and asked it to be spicy. He added so much crushed red pepper that I was not able to eat my food.2nd time I went for biryani, which was nothing but boiled rice with a piece of chicken leg. In the name of the salads, he added a few pieces of Lettice and tomatoes. Only gave hummus but no tzatziki.The most of the time, his shawarma has no taste in it, taste liked boiled chicken pieces, not thin shawarma slices.
Love this spot. It's such an underrated little gem. Incredible falafel, perfect shawarma, and perfect service. 10/10 recommend this spot for lunch!

The staff should learn how to respect the delivery drivers. I went to take the order from them and they said cancel the order and go away from the restaurant. That’s how they treat the delivery guys.

Worst Biryani for 16.20 plus CAD dollars .I looked at the staff, and they looked Turkish, so I ordered biryani...only to be fooled ...Honestly, there are many people who have no food to eat and we should be thankful for our food ..but this shop is a burglar...very very bad food..taste is hopeless..please don't waste your money here..It is not biryani...they are frying the chicken and the rice is no where how it should be for biryani.
