Not sure why someone is targeting Taste of India. I have been a customer for over a decade now and have grown to know and love the owners and their food. I have never had a bad experience and have always had the same quality food year after year. They are very generous with their portion sizes and you can't beat the price. I would also like to confirm that I was not asked to write this review, as I have been on vacation and not seen them in a couple weeks. You can bet as soon as lunch time Monday hits I will be in for a small chicken 65 combo with lemon rice, lentil and 2 raita and it will be delicious. I do miss the spinach chicken though, hope you can make it again someday!
I am from India, and I can tell this doesn't taste like India at all. I saw them putting more and more water in food after regular intervals just to increase the quantity. Not recommended at all, just waste of time and money.

Great eats on the cheap in the mall's food court. No complaints here. Service was prompt and friendly. The vibe was 100% food court, but not a problem for thewses tast bites.

I’ve ordered from here a few times, the combos are really worth the price. The lemon rice is one of my faves. They are always busy at lunch time, with options for non-veg, veg and vegan’s.Although today I only wanted a samosa, which was supposed to be chicken. It was easily 80% potato, don’t get your hopes up is all I’m saying.

So it's pretty obvious that there is a review bomber on here. All of the one star reviews have the same spelling mistakes. I am going to guess there is some restaurant drama. It's a shame because this place actually rules.Haters gonna hate. This place rules and they have managed to keep their prices down, and their quality up for years, even after Crombie REIT tried to evict them in 2015-ish.The owner always makes sure to smile when he gives me a poppadom for free. Give this family your money.
The service and food here was good. We got the vegetarian dish.

The food would be decent. But, one of the things that I want to point out is the tipping fatigue at the place. They only have a little place where they cook. The dining area is managed by the scotia square mall. So, technically they are putting the. food kept on keep warm setting in disposable containers with a few utensils and expecting a tip. Most of the times when I go for a few items then after the tax and the tip it usually gets to around $20. The food was spicy but was able to handle with pop. This might seem weird but there were a lot of other restaurants at the floor that were giving fund under $15 after all charges and were not asking for tips. Those restaurants were also doing a lot of things from scratch and giving things fresh. I would love to tip at a restaurant where I use their utensils that they would need to wash later, there is a server who needed to carry heavy food trays and the chef was making things fresh but would not like to tip for pre heated food that I carried to find a table to eat and then dispose off the container.
