Loved the ambiance especially the live music. The restaurant is beautifully designed ! My only negative would be the meatballs were too salty . Other than that , the food was excellent , especially the lamb !! We will return !

I am so impressed with our experience dining at the Brasserie. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and chose the Brasserie for our special night. We were so thankful to have Ethan as our server for the night. Ethan knew his menu items and made sure to tell us everything about the items we ordered. The Agricola Street Brasserie is a well greased engine. With someone running our food, someone else collecting plates, Ethan checking in, you could tell it was a great team. Having worked in the industry I really appreciated how our dining experience went from start to finish. We had the French Onion soup, Brussel sprout Caesar, the Duck, Oysters.. everything was delicious from start to finish. I highly recommend going to the Brasserie! Can’t wait to go back!

Prepare to strain your eyes and yell with how dark and loud it is. The food took nearly 45 minutes to come out and was ridiculous portions. The cheese board had small amounts of cheese (3 types including blue cheese which many people have aversions to and 6 types of pickled vegetable which was around $30… So much for being a cheese board). If you’re a vegetarian steer clear unless you’re fine with 2 app options and 1 main option. Overall it was the classic pretentious restaurant that is not worth the price. Trash is a nice adjective to use for this “restaurant”.

Good food but I'd say the portion doesn't fit the price-to be expected at nicer restaurants, service was friendly but a little slow, restaurant was a bit noisy, overall 8/10

Party of five: Drink prices are steep. Cocktail recipes need some work. Appetizers: calamari, steak tartare, beet salad, & shrimp--all were very good. I'd rework the dip for the calamari to make it lighter. Mains: cod, salmon, steak & frites--thumbs up all around. (My steak was a perfect medium rare and the frites were excellent.) Desserts: sugar pie, opera cake, vanilla cheesecake, & petits fours. The sugar pie was the best of the lot. The cheesecake was also very good. The opera cake was so-so. The petits fours makes for a nice sharing plate for two. Our server was very good and eager to please. Please clear the snow next to the curb. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We had the special Valentine's Day menu. The appetizers were incredible but the main and dessert were not anything special, especially for the price point ($65 per person without wine pairings). There are definitely better restaurants in that price range in halifax. However the service and ambiance were great!

Went to Agricola Street Brassiere for Valentine's Day. We sat looking over the kitchen. The food was excellent, and ambiance was fun, and it was really cool to see the kitchen at work. I can't wait to go back!

From the ambience to the food to the service; everything is top! Their attention to ensuring you have an amazing experience is up there!! This restaurant holds a special place in my heart! No doubt we'll be visiting again!

I so wanted to love this place and came with the expectation of a great meal and a great restaurant but was terribly let downSalt… all night every dish had waaaay to much salt, started with the crustinis to my spouses french onion soup, and then his fries. Way to much salt so much so we dint feel to great afterwardsI was excited for the beef Wellington to be let down on the pastry being mushy, and the beef just being a touch too rare another minute and it would have been great. The mashed potatoes with it, felt like a mom n pop dinner mashed potatoes, no excitement and bland. The sauce was great. The full throttle drink tastes way of to much smoke, like drinking charcoal. The atmosphere was beautiful but the music to loud, we could barely hear each other. All in all very disappointed with our Valentine’s Day dinner out, and for the expense, honestly it felt like throwing money in the wind.

Fantastic experience with our mid teens grandson! Wonderful tasty and well prepared food, warm friendly and attentive service, and the perfect ambience for conversation and enjoyment of each other. We have been to the Brasserie many times before with adults. And will always return. We love it here!

What a pleasure dinner was tonight. The young man who served us was perfectly personable. Great service from start to finish. A young lady who served drinks was excellent and each course was serviced quickly and was nice and hot! Highly recommend the duck! Often have each execution of duck from here and it's excellent!
