I used to go there several times since it was affordable and tasty. Today, I was shocked to see how it changed from last year. Amount decreased into half. ?The amount has been reduced by half. I haven't eaten it yet because I'm so shocked, but I hope the taste hasn't changed! ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Why did they reduce the quantity by half? ㅠ They’d rather raise the price ㅠㅠ

It’s not surprising because their prices are reasonable, and portion sizes are quite big; especially their lunch prices are hard to beat. After trying all the Korean restaurants in Halifax, I can confidently say that Busan definitely has the best Jiggae (Korean-stews). I really recommend the Gamjatang (Korean Hangover Soup) if you’re looking for an extremely filling meal with lots of protein. Their Banchan (side dishes) also steal the show! I’ve been there many times and have been excellently served by Hanbi and Ella, their service is very efficient.The restaurant does get full at almost any time, so I’d strongly recommend making a reservation ahead for the most optimal experience.

The food is always excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. This is one of the local restaurants that we visit as a special treat fairly often. We tend to have the Korean barbecue as it’s fun and there’s a lot of food. The big assortment of included condiments/sides is one of the reasons we are regulars.Parking: The vacant lot next door has marked spaces for restaurant customers.

I ordered gamjatang delivered and ate it, but the noodles were not cooked, not at all. I know you guys were busy at the time, but shouldn't you guys do best for each and every customer? I couldn’t take a picture of it at the time but anyway I was a bit disappointed.

Busan is one of my favourite affordable restaurants. Service is good, reasonable prices and food is overall good. One can get 10 percent off if you pay in cash which more restaurants should do. I did not give a 5 star this time like before. The spicy chicken, as an example use to be one of our favorites, the chicken seems to be precooked and overcooked. The chicken pieces are very dry now compared to to the first few times. However overall it is still one of our favourite places to eat.

I was craving some Korean bbq, found this place on google and visited Halifax specially for this restaurant and it happened to be the best discovery I made. I was super impressed with their staff who always came to you with a smile on their face, their service was impressive, always checking in on you, the quality of the food was just outstanding and not to forget the taste , I was so impressed with my first time here that I went in again for lunch the next day , I HAD TO!!! The Korean bbq for one was the perfect size ; not too much and not too less. All the meat was fresh and welll seasoned. The miso soup was so warm and comforting. It came with so many side dishes ( Banchan is what they call it)which were so incredible, you can tell that a lot of love and effort is put into everything nuthatch is served at your table. The next day for lunch I had to try their special and famous pork bone soup, OH MY GOODNESS, I sat there devouring the pork bone for nearly an hour, and the best part-they have private booths so I could save myself the embarrassment while licking my fingers, it was so soft and tender and full of flavor , I am so going back again, the owners were so kind too , she offered me a free grape drink and I would definitely recommend this place, if you want good authentic Korean food , this is the place, I promise you won’t be disappointed ❤️
