I just left the Dairy Queen in Bayers Lake. I went through the drive through. I was horrified by the lady taking my order as she took part of the order, left me hanging without saying a word, came back and wanted me to repeat everything. She left again without saying anything, then came back and asked me once again what I want to drink. Then she sighed because I asked if there was diet 7-Up. I got to the pick up window and I asked if there was ketchup in the bag, she rolled her eyes at me, handed me 2 ketchup and slammed the window down.

I enjoy this particular location more so due to the extremely friendly staff, from management down. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Has become a regular stopping place for me.

Hands-down, the best Dairy Queen. I’ve visited Nova Scotia. beautiful dining area, impeccably clean, and the staff were just beyond friendly. I honestly can’t remember the last time I walked into a fast food joint and had the staff so happy and smiling and attentive. The girl working cash, was so helpful with my young neices and the menu, even offering some dietary alternatives. And one girl from the back they must’ve made a mistake on the drive-through and when I tell you that girl ran like a marathon runner to catch that driver before they left without his blizzard all with a smile on her face it was awesome. It was great to see. You clearly have an amazing team here. customer service is really bad specially for mobile pick. they forget to putt all the things in the order. so open your bag and count everything before leaving.

When we arrive through the drive through we waited about 5 mins to have our order taken which was fine not knowing if it was understaffed or not when getting to the window our fried food was ready as soon as we got there, we then waited about 7 -10 mins for our ice creams we watched the Sunday be made but then sit there while it took four employees to put the hot fudge on it, we then waited another few mins for the blizzard all while this was happening one employee poured him self a drink and just leaned up against the counter while a group of 6 of them all stood around having a very inappropriate conversation, while the window was opened and customers in the lobby while one girl made our blizzard. We then also had to ask for our drink, wasn’t very impressed by this kind of service.

I called from ONTARIO to order a birthday cake for my boys that live in NS and are in the military. Greg helped me and was amazing. He made sure it was ordered correctly and got to their house for the time I needed. He went out of his way to help me get this done! Thank you DQ!! I am 20 hours away and my boys are happy on their birthday!
