Your staff (especially bouncers) do not watch their people with care. Coming here with the experience of your space being one of unity, kindest and love, is not what I experienced. You preach kindness and respect, but your female bouncers show the opposite, seclusion and segregation. You’ve honestly influenced a power that might lead your business to power, but sent it to criticism. Watch your luck and your staff.

We used to go herejj no often and hadn’t been in a while so we were quite excited to be back as food used to be great. Not anymore! I had fish and chips, nothing to write home about, my brother had wings and ate half the order as he said they were pretty much tasteless, our friend ordered a burger he said was , “just okay”, and my daughter ordered a vegetarian option, some vegan chicken thing and was less than impressed. We were going to order the nachos which used to be amazing there, but we caught id of an order at a table near us and they had anything on them. Oh! We ordered panko onion rings to share for the table, horrible! We each had one and were like, “what the? Couldn’t taste onion at all, but some strange oil they use, and that’s how the fish and chips tasted, they must be using some cheap oil.The waitress was lovely and on the ball, and the bar atmosphere was great, lots of people, so that was good as I don’t get out much ha!Vegetarian options: Extremely limited, they do have a beyond burger, a fake chicken meal which my daughter tried and didn’t like, the nachos plate I saw across didn’t seem to have much on them, and we used to go just for nachos years ago, they were so good.

My mother brought friends from over seas to this place and was refused alcohol because they were laughing too much therefor the servers assumed they were inebriated. Literally. They shamed guests in our city who weren't even drunk. I think the place might be run by soulless Mennonites.

Upstairs is ok! Basement has really great comedy shows!!! like 10/10 on the comedy! But the room smells like someone took a dump on the floor and they tried to wash is off with Pee then let it dry. Maybe its part of the comedy show.

This place was a bit funkier the last time I was in town 10 years ago... only a sprinkling of young jaded scruffy ex-hispsters moping about the week before Christmas. The lady bartender was nice and helpful. There is a good club downstairs with live music, and although the crows were young students, there was quite a mix of older music fans as well. (It used to be the original Sea Horse in the basement). A non-pretentious place to catch a quiet drink with a few old friends before heading off to dance.

A great low key pub where the food is consistent in quality and taste and the servers are always friendly.
It was a nice place to sit down with a friend while having drinks and conversations. It had an alright selection on tap. Nothing too fancy. It's a good place to just get away from the crowd.

Kicked out when not drunk at all by short, blonde haired manager. Not the first time I’ve felt targeted at this bar. Absolutely no reason. Garbage bar with no accountability between staff and the business.

We were very disappointed with how the servers are made to work in conditions that didn't seem safe or comfortable. Apparently there hasn't been any heat there since Sept. They were freezing, the customers were cold, trying to keep warm with space heaters - unacceptable!

Always a fantastic time downstairs for drag or comedy.Strangely poor service upstairs yesterday, our first time upstairs. We arrived early for a downstairs show so sat ourselves upstairs for a beverage. We were given a drinks list but it didn't have anything non-alcoholic listed. My husband asked if he could get a coffee; I asked if tea was an option and the server said "Yes" and then went quiet (awkward). I said something like "Oh great, do you have any black teas?" (hoping for something caffeinated) and she just said "I don't know " and again went quiet. It was like pulling teeth just trying to get some info (or later, milk and sugar) from her! There was a lot of sighing from this server, an uncomfortable experience for sure. Will happily return for events downstairs though.

I am rating this a 1 as we order food and drinks. While waiting for our meals, not 1 but 2 RATS were running around. Absolutely disgusting. If 2 are running around when customers are present how many are there when restaurant is closed.
