I was crossing the road near Dalhousie University mid crosswalk when the garrison truck driver blew right past me nearly hitting me in the crosswalk. Clearly the employees don’t care for the rules of the road.

Really good variety of tastes! Each is delicious. I wish there were some food on the menu.

One of the first small breweries to hit the scene in NS! Great location down near the waterfront, an excellent selection of beers, huge space and shop, friendly staff! And the beer is pretty incredible too! Glad I got a chance to stop in while visiting Halifax this summer, can't wait to get back!

This was a great spot right by the cruise port. I enjoyed all of their beers and it was great the seating area was right next to their brew floor where you can see their fermentation vessels and brew equipment. The prices were also very reasonable. More importantly the staff was incredibly friendly! Their artwork for their labels was incredible.

Great selection of beer and other drinks! One of the few breweries that keep a red and a brown ale on tap which I personally prefer. Both were great! I bought a twelve pack to go as well and a couple shirts. Prices were going. The beer tenders were friendly. The bar/walls made out of old shipping containers are pretty neat. If I lived close by I would stop in.

beer is good but has an uncomfortable atmosphere with a lot of divisive decor

I'm not gonna lie; the beer at this place is nothing to write home about. If you are a true craft beer aficionado (I sort of fancy myself a bit that way), none of the beer on tap will excite you in particular. They have a wide variety though, and you should find something pleasing enough. I feel bad being so harsh about the beer, because otherwise, this was a great find.We were on a cruise and had spent a full day in the Halifax area. But we had a little time before we needed to be back onboard ship. Who would have thought we could spend that time a a local brewery literally steps away from our ship!! After 15 cruises, we've never had quite that experience. (We always seek out breweries, but never found one quite this close). It's a nice, relaxed atmosphere and the service was friendly. They even have a large merchandise selection if you're looking for a souvenir. It's light and airy.It was the perfect downtime moment for us between the go, go, go of our day and the hustle & bustle of being back on the ship. I certainly recommend a visit.

Really enjoyed this place. It's right in the port and they have beer and cider. I did a flight of beer and then had a cider. Also bought a very nice t shirt which is my souvenir of Halifax. The vibe is enjoyable here. There's plenty of outside and inside seating. Lots of beers to choose from. Cans and cases are available too. It's a very nice place to relax.

Right off the pier so very convenient to all the cruise ships, this place is large and has a kind of tourist-bro mass production vibe to it. Of course, it was packed with cruise ship tourists so all outdoor tables were taken and indoor tables (open air) were humid and muggy and sticky (not sure when last cleaned). They had a great selection of their crafted beers, which we enjoyed and found to be good quality, at about $6USD each after taxes and before any gratuity. No huge complaints but I would rather walk a little further to a place frequented by locals with a more quaint local vibe.

Great beer. They also make their own soft drinks and sell souveneirs. A good place to stop before getting back on your cruise.
