Everything was soooo delicious! We tried apple strudel, nougat?(i cant begin to describe how delicious this was! It looked like a donut with hazelnut butter cream covered in chocolate on a cookie) and a chocolate brownie. My daughter wants me to pass along that the brownie was not stale and probably the best brownie shes ever had! LolService was great as well! The lady working was so friendly!

We were visiting from Ontario and went to this place based on reviews. I'm actually surprised they have such good reviews. The baked goods were just OK and overpriced, but the worst part was the customer service. It is absolutely horrible, the people working here were so cold and unpleasant, they almost seemed to be annoyed by us being there. All three of us left this place, gave each other a look and we all had the same feeling about the service. I don't mind paying a premium, and you don't have to be super friendly, but I expect not to feel unwelcome. It was such an odd, off-putting experience.

Amazing place. Would be better with seating inside. The viennese coffee is always good.

The staff here go above and beyond! Such wonderful people! I had one of the most delicious desserts. It was filled with a cream that was out of this world delicious. I wish I lived closer!!

Gingerbread cookies were cake-like and a bit stale. Chocolate chip cookie was average. The dough le cookie with nougat was really good.

Croissant was untasty. The atmosphere really unwelcoming. Prices on the price tags unfair, they take much more

Very cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. Even though there were two people behind counter not one spoke. Only communication was the total price of the purchase and then had the nerve to ask for a tip on the debit machine with no option to opt out. Won't be returning.

For years my family has enjoyed the bread and pastries and sweets. On top of that, the people here are so friendly. Halifax is lucky to have such wonderful little gem of a bakery like this.

Nice variety of pastries. Cinnamon bun was massive and decent, croissant was okay

A cute little spot. Not much for seating but the fresh baked goods smell just lures you in! We did see that they also sell coffee so this would be a lovely morning spot to stroll by and get a little something while enjoying a coffee.
