An all you can eat hot pot restaurant with fresh ingredients, warm and thoughtful service, clean and comfortable environment, sea view, moderate price, and rich and unique pot base.

Foods are okay. But it definitely has serious food safety issues! I ate here the night before yesterday and I had the worst food poisoning and abdominal pain of my life yesterday. So as my friends who are also sick in different severity.

This is one of my favourite places to eat in the city, the staff is amazing and friendly, and also super helpful if you’ve never been to a hot pot restaurant before. Me and my friend were slightly nervous going in and trying it for the first time, but the staff made us feel comfortable and confident when it came to ordering and getting our food. Couldn’t recommend this place enough definitely a great choice in the city!Parking: There is a parking garage right beside the restaurant, about 2$ an hour. There is also street parking that is available but not a whole lot of spots

First time making a review but I’ve been 4 times already. Love the meat options here. I’m always trying to bring a new friend down with me for them to try. Fun casual date space, great vibes. Will be back with other friends ??

Restaurant closes at 10:00pm. Denied to be seated at 8:19pm because the kitchen was closing? YOU COOK THE FOOD YOURSELF AT THE TABLE?! What exactly was closing? The restaurant still had a number of tables full?

If you're looking for a good place for hotpot, look no further. The view is also fantastic. We had half chicken/ half pork broth and all kinds of veggies and meat. We left feeling very full. Highly recommend!

My solo dining experience at In Spring Chinese Buffet in Halifax reached new heights with their unique hot pot offering. The interactive buffet allows patrons to cook their raw ingredients, and my choice of the tomyam broth added an extra layer of flavor excitement to the meal. The tomyam broth proved to be a stellar selection, infusing my hot pot with a zesty and aromatic kick. The array of raw ingredients provided a canvas for my culinary creativity, and the DIY hot pot concept added an engaging element to the dining experience. The staff's assistance and guidance in navigating the hot pot setup were commendable, ensuring even solo diners like myself could fully enjoy the process. The vibrant and bustling atmosphere, coupled with the personalized touch of cooking my own hot pot, made for a truly memorable evening. In Spring Chinese Buffet's hot pot experience is a must-try for those seeking a hands-on and flavorful adventure. The tomyam broth, in particular, elevated the meal to a delightful crescendo of taste. Whether you're a solo diner or with company, this hot pot extravaganza is a standout feature that sets In Spring apart in the culinary scene of Halifax.

I had pork bone soup and spicy soup which is good combination on our dining table. Almost meats were frozen but those are kept in good quality and also good taste. The highlight is the variety of dipping sauce that rarely found from another hot pot restaurant like Happy Veal that they will charge you few dollars. But here is all-you-can-eat. Good job!!!Parking: You can park inside the same building and the restaurant will take care you for 1 free hour.

The quality of the food and broth for the hot pot was excellent! I have had many meals here, but while some servers are attentive, a few are particularly slow to check up on customers or refill the buffet items.Highly recommend trying it out however!Parking: Parking is literally next door in a parking garage

Can't comment on food. However, the buffet section was very unsanitary. I watched a customer sip some soup/sauce with the serving spoon to try it and just put it back.Waited 15 minutes with no updates. No one served us after we filled out the sheet for the hotpot choices, so we just left. It's hard to tell who works there as there was no identifying uniform or anything of that sort.
