Well I was so looking forward to a donair here after watching YouTube videos about "eating in Halifax". The order process and payment was not smooth. The tiny table, although appreciated, as it was raining, was sticky and not great considering how cleaning is supposed to be increased during Covid-19. Johnny K's located on pizza corner was the perfect spot for us to take our "out of town" guests for the official food of Halifax as we had a vegan in the group. I had heard they had a vegetarian donair available and we were very pleased at how accommodating they were to make that vegan. The traditional donairs had tons of meat and no one walked away disappointed.

Small place. We got takeout.the donairs were good and had a unique flavour ,not overly sweet or spicy. Lots of sauce,onions and tomatoes . We were happy with them and could see why they would be peoples favourites
