Was really looking forward to trying this place! We had delivery and they had issues with their driver so it took quite a long time to arrive. That’s fine, stuff happens :) but then they forgot to add the olive oil & olives to both felafels. So when the order did finally arrive they were unbelievably dry.The potatoes were definitely not fresh. Not sure….but we got the feeling ours was their first order/delivery of the night. So suspect the potatoes were from day before, they were that hard and drIed out. So inedible in fact that we just tossed both orders in the compost. However, the Falafels themselves were excellent!! Besides them forgetting to add the olive oil/olive sauce…. And making the whole pita pocket super dry, we still enjoyed them.We would like to give them another try (the felafel balls were that good) but they have to do better and provide fresh potatoes and not forget the sauce. So 2 stars for a great felafel itself but negative experience overall. Will update when we give them another try.

Definitely a must visit for the Egyptian bread with lentil. Decent prices and fresh hot meals. Recommended.

I don’t know if it was a bad day for them or the food is like what I had but the falafel was way over cooked to almost being burnt the lever is heated and not fresh and the way they did it they definitely over cooked , as for the kufta it’s better than the other sandwich’s but not fresh , the kushari was the better than others but way too much cumin in the rice not the authentic way but tasty

My friends are gluten free and the staff were easily able to accommodate them. The food took a little while to arrive but was worth the wait. Really good food and service that many larger places should envy and seek to emulate.

Staying at Hampton Inn across the street. Hungry. Wanted something quick, healthy and filling. Healthy-yes, quick-not so much, filling-kind of. Cashier brought our order. She acted like everyting was in the bag and order was ready for us to take. Having had way too many mistakes in orders from myriads of other restaurants I checked the contents. She forgot our soup. Not much of an apology on her part. She went in back. Got the soup and put it into our bag. That's it. Servering had no emotion. Just the facts. That's all. No smile. No welcome. For the location this place could do much better.

The pita bread here is unreal - it's home made style and amazing. Had chicken, will try the falafel an dbeef and the flavour was awesome for a weeknight meal. cozy place inside - we'll definitely be making this place a regular rotation.

Food is delicious. My favourite menu item is the soup, which I’ve bought several times and love. It’s usually amazing. But the soup I recently ordered was so watered down, it had zero flavour. Much thinner than usual and less flavour, like someone tried to double the amount of soup in a pot by just adding water. Very disappointing. I’m hoping this isn’t a regular thing, but I’m still not sure I’d ever buy the soup again.

Best Falafel sandwich I have ever tried! Thank you!

I really don't like to leave bad reviews, but I've been to the Sackville location for this restaurant 3 times. Every single time we are told they have no tabouleh. How does a restaurant make business when they continue telling their customers they don't have something on the menu? This is seriously discouraging and makes me never want to recommend this place at all. We resorted to ordering their potatoes and and a grape leaf to try. The grape leaf was okay, but the potatoes were pretty boring and not appealing at all. People eat with their eyes...

Great tasting, healthy options in a highly inviting dining area. The Beef Kofta Pockets were very well-done, with healthy servings of veggies and sauces augmented by succulent chunks of meat that tasted great, both in the bread and on its own. Very flavourful and rather unique when compared to the numerous other Mediterranean restaurants that proliferate the Halifax region. The service was topnotch as well with friendly staff and a quick turnaround. Highly recommended

First time here; on the corner of Brunswick, across from Staples, we went at lunch and it was pretty quiet and fast service. The pita pocket was delicious and a large size, my meal came with small potatoes, carrots, and a dessert. The potatoes were good, carrots were cold and pickled, the dessert is comparable to small honey glazed donuts but not as sweet. Next time, I would just order the pita pocket as it is large enough for a meal itself. And a side of the yummy dessert for later.

Tonight we got dinner from here as we trusted high Google rating, but we regret it almost immediately as we started ordering anyway we carried on with order to be polite, also, we were exhausted to walk to another place!Maybe if we would have ordered Pitas, we'd be a bit happier.First shocking fact was the hostess / cook was wearing her mask under her nose all the time, except every once in a while remembering to fix it making us switch from Dine-in to Take-out as we sensed the necessity to warm up the foods at Hotel's microwave to be on safe side!My husband ordered Koshary with adding Garlic Shrimp to have a protein which was a struggle to place the order via the hostess / cook.We got the food a bit later than promised maybe because she was the only one in the restaurant. We paid higher than expected especially as the portion of the Bowl wasn't really like a bowl. The Garlic sauce we requested was too little to see or taste, the potatoes were burnt and they were super salty.I went for 2 star here only due to the good looking / smelling breads (pitas).

Just had lunch here. Absolutely amazing!! Clean delicious homely food. Shoutout to the crispy chicken pita and the minced meat pastry (forget what's called...). The garlic sauce is deadly soooo good. The pita is soooo amazing never had anything like it! So fresh and wholesome. Place is clean and lovely too!
