Went here on a tinder date during the height of covid - yeah I know, not my finest moment, but I was pretty desperate for human touch at this point and figured the guilt of being served pizza on a balcony by a service worker in a face shield on a humid summer day would be outweighed by the possibility of experiencing human touch for the first time in four months. I was wrong.

I have had a number of items off of their menu and darn, they are great!Having a fantastic classic Italian bistro in the neighbourhood is such a blessing!Their calamari is unreal! Extremely delicious, not battered and in a red sauce, and served with bell peppers. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: They are happy to accommodate.Dietary restrictions: My partner is vegan, they made a few accommodations to their normal menu to make her feel very comfortable.
100% is one of the best pizzas in Halifax! Highly recommend!Thin dough and extremely tasty filling.Pizza is baked on wood, which gives it a special aroma. One pizza is enough for two to enjoy. But if you have come to eat, it is better to take individual dishesThank you so much for this incredible restaurant.Will be back, for sure??

We were entertaining a party of five. for a holiday lunch. Pizzas were deicious (served on very cool wooden plates). Everyone loved their selections, which we shared to sample different kinds. No one was disappointed. Dessert (lemon cake) also delicious and nicely-presented. Despite a relatively new server, the service was warm, friendly and efficient. Our only complaint (unanimously) were our coffees. As the last thing one often has in a resaurant, it can leave a lasting impression, so we hope they will improve the quality of the coffees, as we'd all like to return to Piazza and recommend to others. We hope this cozy, locally-owned,, small neighborhood restaurant thrives, so we can continue to enjoy unreservedlyA Shannon Feb. 19, 2024

We went for a Valentine's dinner and it was a wonderful experience! We ordered the Arancini for appetizer (comes in three but big enough to split the last one), pastas for main and the two house made desserts. Food was delicious and had a good portion. I would have been okay even without the dessert but the Chocolate Fondant called out to me, and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable, our waitress checked on us and made sure we had everything we need. I ordered one of the Valentine's Day cocktails (Prosecco kiss) which was so pretty and tasted quite nice with the dinner. Will definitely be back to try the pizzas.

Fantastic experience at La Piazza! We were a group of 5 for a 6pm reservation. This was a Sunday night, so the cafe was not as busy and we were seated right away. The Cafe had a great inviting atmosphere similar to a cozy cottage. Our server was very friendly, prompt and helpful suggesting options from the menu.Our starters and main course was served in a timely manner and was very well-presented, warm and delicious. Food quality overall was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and delectable. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas.La Piazza Resto is a great little neighborhood eatery that is well worth a visit. Parking should be no issue on the side streets. Enjoy!

The food and service was wonderful. My only note is that they sat the only other table of people right beside us rather than at another further away. As the place was empty (post lunch) it would have been nice for both tables to have had less noise.

The radicchio salad is really good. A little more bacon would be great but over all very nice. My friends had the grilled cheese with the best fries in Halifax! Next time, wine and pasta.

La Piazza never disappoints! We had the spinach & artichoke dip, meat pizza, penne, salmon risotto and chocolate fondant dessert. All very flavourful and cooked to perfection. Aperol spritz and limoncello spritz were also delicious. Always highly recommend this restaurant! Recommend reservations :)

We ate here several years ago and liked it a lot. This week we returned with friends and did not like it so much. It was very noisy, so it was hard to have a conversation. The food is over priced, and the toppings on my pizza were pretty skimpy. We have some excellent pizza restaurants in Halifax; this is not one of them. Too bad, it was nice to have a good place to eat in the neighborhood, but I don't think we will be back.
