I've been living in Halifax for over 10 years and was quite surprised to stumble upon this place last evening. It did not disappoint!Firstly it is located in a nice, quaint spot downtown with lots of available street parking nearby. I was first impressed by the decor of the interior. It was modern, bright and very inviting.The service was also top notch.. The server was friendly and observant. He didnt allow our glasses to run empty before refilling them. He noticed when we were using alot of the sauces and quickly offered more. It didnt matter how much we used, he was keen to ask if we wanted more as if they had an unlimited supply. We appreciated that! He was friendly, interactive and very professional.The food was tasty!! We really enjoyed the Pho and the broth was so comforting. I could definitely drink it by the cups lol. We also bought some spring rolls. I believe they are a bit over priced at $7 for 2 rolls, but they were pretty tasty nonetheless. The experience was wonderful. I would definitely go back!

Today's lunch was bun bo Hue and salad rolls. I'm lucky I could drop by this restaurant on my way home. It means I can enjoy delicious Vietnamese food whenever I want. The moment I got into the restaurant, I felt a cozy and very clean atmosphere. The owner's service was friendly and fast. The noodle soup was enough to taste traditional Vietnamese food, and the salad rolls were spot on. It is worth a visit, and I plan to visit again to try a vermicelli bowl and banh mi.
Wawe, one of the best experience I had. I went to this restaurant yesterday for dinner. The soup Pho was amazing tasty and the waiter did an awesome job. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I am absolutely addicted to the curry chicken on rice. Add two spring rolls with fish sauce and I'll ask for nothing more. It's more costly than it used to be but it never disappoints. I drive in from Bedford all the way downtown! I could die for their meat spring rolls. They know me well and always chat. This place used to be very plain but they've renovated, upscaled, added alcohol to the menu. Very different now.

Food is delicious… Service the first time there was fantastic. Very helpful. The second time we walked out without food… very disappointing! The services matters just as much as the food so unfortunately, we won’t be back… Felt like we were an inconvenience…EDIT TO ADD: The first time there, I was forgotten about. My husband had finished his food before my coffee even arrived. It was busy so we let it go. The second time, we would have been happy to get our meals without the coffee, but it seemed we were just being annoying for asking. The coffee and food was delicious, but the side of annoyance left a bad taste. Thankfully Halifax has other options.

We stumbled upon this place and we are so happy we stopped. The Pho was fantastic and well as the Bun. Spring rolls were tasty. The decor is much nicer than the prices would indicate. Owner was nice and friendly. Highly recommend. Wish Toronto had a Vietnamese place this good for this value.

Great location but 2 stars for service because they didn't tell us they did not have the right ingredients before they took our order. We were so excited for our pho and was served with the wrong ingredients. Right ingredients add the authenticity of food please note. Basil is an essential ingredient in making pho. They didn't tell us they ran out until we asked why they served us with the wrong ingredients. They didn't offer to take back or return our money but they simply told us "we ran out of basil." And left us. We were so hungry so we had to eat the food despite being disappointed.

If you want fresh, delicious Vietnamese food; you know, when you don’t want something heavy, and noodles sound good…. Head to Man Bean. It’s central, very reasonably priced, and delicious. While staying in Halifax we went back more than once.

Very good vietnamese food in Halifax! The service was fast and the food was amazingly good. The only reason im giving 4 star is because of the price, it is a little more expensive then regular vietnamese food. The place is beautiful, clean bathroom and good sized tables. Overall, we really liked our experience!
