We went here for lunch on August 22, 2023. The service was friendly and helpful. We were given explanation of the dishes. There was great African music blaring. Erik had the egusi goat stew and Cheryl had the vegetarian plater. The food arrived in a reasonable time and was well presented. The food was tasty and filing. Word of warning if you order goat. Goat is extremely difficult to debone so expect bones. I have been to numerous restaurants and ordered goat dishes. They all have had bones. We really enjoyed our lunch. We would definitely eat here again.
AFRICAN GOLD! Authentic, delicious, healthy, flavourful. There’s not much else to say. One of the few mom and pop shops with Mary herself behind the counter. We had the Goat Stew w/ Garri Fufu (cassava). My wife had the veggie platter - my lord. So savoury, spicy and sweet all in one meal. If you want pampered service there are many options along the waterfront for triple the price, otherwise, grab yourself some delicious curry goat and black-eyed peas and enjoy one of the best quick lunches in the city
