We found this lovely family owned restaurant by reading a recommendation in a recent article in the Globe and Mail. I had the butter chicken which was absolutely amazing! The naan was the best! Service was great!

One of the best Indian food I have had. However, it was so crowded whenever I come. I have to line up for so long outside the door and the space is also small.

Best authentic Indian food in Halifax! Got takeout and the butter chicken and the Lamb Rogan Josh are amazing. The meat was so tender, and the flavour of the curries were incredible (the mild was definitely quite spicy so I would stick to that heat level!) Will be back!

I ordered amritsari kulcha and they bring aloo prantha and have to pay extra for white chick peas which is the part of kulcha.

Another good Indian cuisine option in Halifax. Dal makhni and chicken lababdar were beyond expectations, the spice level and taste were upto the mark.

I have been going to this restaurant from last 5 years.Their food has been good but this time. I went to the restaurant around 12:30 pm ordered Noodles and Manchurian. It was stale. The taste was awful like nothing was prepared fresh.I just couldn’t finish. I complained about getting stale food and was offered to change the portion but this the only change i could see was they added crisp veg rest was same.I ended up falling sick. Not a good experience.

Hospitality and taste is amazing. It's a bit expensive compared to other restaurants but when considering the taste, I feel it's worth

I went with my friends, starters were great, we ordered smosa chaat andveg Manchurian and chicken tikka. And in main course, karahi panner and tandoori chicken was also great. Mango lassi was super yummy and thick, the way I expected.Thank you mirchi tandoor. After 4-5 months in halifax, first time I had good indian food and felt worth spending my money.

The food here is some of the best I’ve had on the planet! The lamb madras is a must, the roasted cardamom flavours hits beautifully. We’ve eaten here about a dozen times now and every dish is amazing!
