They not open till 10pm on Saturdays. Don’t know who’s lying google, pita pit app or the guy working tonight. The sign on door was mentioning they were open so do pita pit app and google maps. I walked in at 9.00 pm on Saturday and the guy working inside told me they are closed but according to their app and google map they supposed to be open until 10.00 pm on Saturdays.

Love grabbing a quick bite at Pita Pit on Spring Garden Road! It's always a supper friendly vibe, The staff there are supper nice and always smiling . The pitas are fresh, tasty, and you’re able to make the pita as you like. You can also add as much guacamole as you want with no EXTRA cost! It’s the Perfect spot for a quick, healthy lunch when you're out and about in Halifax. Definitely one of my favourite spots of mine!

I had to throw my meal away after one bite. It was disgustingly falling apart due to way too much sauce making the pita soggy, and it had what I assume was beef in it instead of the black beans that I had ordered. I don't eat meat. Since it was right in front of me, I examined the "meat," which might have had beef in it, but it was quite sausage-like and somewhat unidentifiable. I had never eaten at a Pita Pit before and have no reason to do so in the future.
The worker seemed annoyed that I wanted my wraps extra grilled this evening. They used to grill for at least a minute when I used to come here by default, now I had to push just to get 30 seconds. Will be my last visit.

They barely cooked my meat (buffalo chicken) so it was still cold on the inside. They also didn’t even scrape the grill, which was absolutely covered in charred bits (if I had noticed this before purchase I wouldn’t have even bought anything). Asked for my pita toasted and they put it on for such a short time it didn’t even fully warm the bread. So incredibly disappointed. I didn’t feel good about eating it so I threw it away. If they can’t even properly make a very basic pita or scrape a grill I don’t trust them to follow food safety protocol properly.

I’ve always loved the pita pit (and worked at the pita pit for many years) but I had a weird experience here tonight. I went in to order a wrap and asked to use the washroom and they said there were no washrooms. I was like “oh, that must be new because there usually is” and they were like “we don’t even have a washroom to use” which honestly seems illegal to not offer your employees a washroom. Food is adequate but I also noticed that it didn’t look as clean as it had previously.
