Fresh baked rum cake was amazing, warm, moist and delicious. I had the original with caramel only. I thought it was great. I did not buy the whole cake, simply because I did not have hands to carry it. But I would say that based on the reviews and my conversation with staff, it is not a cake you buy and eat it at the hotel.... you should have a sauce of some sort and maybe warm it up?
Great service! The owner is so nice and friendly. Good spot to experience delicious cakes. I had the chocolate with whiskey, vanilla with rum, and whiskey. I also got one big cake to bring back home. BTW, they were very moist and the owner explained me how to prepare the mix to put in the cake: rum or whiskey with water and sugar.
