My husband and I had lunch here after seeing the Navy Museum. We had the Bologna sandwich and Hot Chicken and dressing. They were both amazing!! So delicious! Loved the ambience and friendly servers. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be back next time in Halufax!

Our first time here,we stopped in for lunch and what a pleasant surprise! In a renovated Victorian home, so cosy. Gentle fires burning in two grates. The staff were fabulous (Anthony was one of our servers) and the food completed the overall wonderful experience! Definitely on our 'must go to' list now! Enjoy!

Went for an early Valentine’s dinner with my wife this weekend and had such a lovely time . The building is beautiful, they’ve really kept the charm of this lovely heritage house.The food was delicious. We had the chicken sandwich and fish sandwich which came with giant salads. The molasses brown bread was soft and sweet and a perfect side. And we finished off with a sticky toffee pudding which was amazing. Everything felt like having supper at a friend’s house, cosy and homemade.The staff were also so lovely. Super friendly and welcoming.It was also great to have live music playing! We sat about half way to the back of the building which was perfect to hear the music and still have a conversation. We found a cosy corner table right by the fireplace.Although I live in the south end I will definitely make a point to head north to come back. It seems like a great place to have lunch and get some work done too!Thanks for the great night!

Had to wait 30 minutes for a table but enjoyed a beer at a stand up bar while waiting. Once seated we had 3 appetizers and all were excellent. A busy place with a nice atmosphere and excellent service. We will go back.

A new Halifax gem that is Susie vibe to He ry House. It’s a very English pub style with great food and service. It’s always busy and trying to find a seat can be tough but it’s worth it.
