I love this place. It isn't long on atmosphere unless you like the family diner vibe (but I do.)And honestly, some of their dishes fall flat but I've been a regular for years and have settled on a few dishes that I can no longer live without.The owners are lovely too :)

Ordered delivery tonight and was not disappointed. Guy on the phone an driver were very polite. Food was delicious! Easy to see that it's all made in house, and food arrived so fast it was still steaming hot. Highly recommend!

Here for a hospital visit from Sydney.We ordered food for 3 people to our hotel room.The food was amazing.Very tasty.Lots of flavour and the service/delivery was fast.We received our food and it was still piping hot..Job well done during such Covid crazy times.Thank you! I recommend this place and we will most definately eat here again!!!❤️

Poor quality food at a mid range price. The chicken fried rice had no flavor. The spring rolls were very greasy. The chicken ball were pretty good but they were mostly batter.

We tried due to lockdown and waiting times at other places were long. Food arrived piping hot and quickly. Large portions. Egg rolls a bit salty. Rice was better than most places. Polite delivery person. Will definitely order again.

We ordered mushroom fried rice,schezwan chicken, chicken chow mein,mixed vegetables, spicy potatoes and springs rolls all the dishes were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend.

Chicken fried rice was tasteless and almost no chicken. Asked for beef and broccoli and got broccoli stir-fry. Chicken balls were good, but the sauce comes on it, so not great for left overs.

Honestly..... The best Chinese I've had in awhile. Ordered two times this trip. Food was awesome. Customer service was awesome. Wait time was minimal. Delivery driver was polite and extremely appreciative for the tip given. THIS IS DEFINITELY OUR GO TO FOR CHINESE WHILE IN HALIFAX.

I love Yanjing! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and hot when brought to the table or delivered, and there are many options for vegetarians or non-red meat eaters (like me). The interior is simple which is all you need. It is quiet place to go if alone or with friends. I highly recommend it!

Ordered combo beef/broccoli, garlic ribs, sub'd fried rice w steamed rice and another - dish fried tofu w mixed vegetables.Pickup on schedule, combo rate a 3.5 and tofu/mixed vegetables 4.0 Eggroll just okay, probably sub for springroll next time.Nice to know this restaurant is in the neighborhood for takeout.
