Everything at this restaurant is homemade, from scratch. The poutine is hands down the best in the city. Burgers are all made by hand. Chicken is tender and juicy. The owners are super friendly. Very family oriented atmosphere.

By far the best pizza in the HRM! Order with extra Mozzarella and you will have a slice that will come out looking like commercial ready slice and the taste rivals Cape Breton/ New Glasgow pizza. AND great spot for an affordable, delicious breakfast. Oh, and the owners are such a sweet, friendly couple which makes me want to support their business all the more.

Wow, this mom and pop shop is a must stop!!He made our pizza fresh when we arrived with real delicious homemade milk shakes. His wife also has a beautiful garden which all veggies served came from. Very fresh food and very generous with their portions. The prices also cannot be beat! I wish I was in the area longer so I could come back for another meal.Support local and keep businesses like these ones alive. It is very clear that this couple pours their heart and soul into their business.

The owners are such a nice, sweet couple! My pizza and garlic fingers were the best I’ve ever had and my son’s hot beef sandwich was so good! I would definitely return to this wonderful restaurant!

A quick take: a mom and pop diner, quick service, good food, CASH ONLYI found this place on Google when I was looking for a late dinner past 8:30pm. Upon entering I was greeted by couple I presume are the owners. They were sitting and talking without their masks on, and they had this curious look on them when I stepped in. I guess they were not expecting customers at that hour. They didn't ask for a proof of vaccination. I ordered a seafood platter and a chocolate milkshake to go, which came to $23. Thank God I had cash on me, otherwise I would've had to find another place that's open in the middle of snow squall. The milkshake was not thick, which made it easy to drink with a straw. The seafood platter had 2 pieces of fried haddock, 2 shrimps, 6 scallops, and a large portion of hand-cut fries. Haddock was tiny bit greasy but was expected with the batter. It was fairly lightly battered, which I appreciate, unlike other places that disappoint you with a thick batter disguising as fish meat. Scallops were my favourite. There were no condiments in the bag. It might be they forgot or I had to ask for them. Overall, I was glad to find a local family restaurant with good food. I'm planning to come back for a breakfast tomorrow. They have crazy hours: 9am-11pm! I hope the owners get to rest regularly.

myself and my boyfriend popped in for dinner. The greeting was just the beginning of the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. They greeted us as though they were shocked and hadn't seen a guest in weeks. Then we sat, the table was not wiped it had salt, sesame seeds and what looked like a ketchup stain. We remained patient and waited for our food. While we were waiting for our food my boyfriend expressed how he had a bad feeling about this place. When our ordered arrived the wings I had ordered were over cooked and the burger that my boyfriend ordered had a maggot crawling on it. Thank god it was visible on the meat and not under the bun. Needless to say, we told the owners and got out of there. Worst experience ever.
