Duke gave my mom, his aunt and neighhbour for his whole life a birthday pizza and wings for her birthday.. The food was delicious. Mom and I had fish and chips and salad on Friday evening . Both were very good . Staff is very friendly also.

Had dinner and drinks waiting to get onto ferry. Recent new owner. Busy getting place back in order. Very eclectic and will be super when up to date. Enjoyed the beer and food and good chat with the staff. Would go frequently if lived remotely closer.
Best fish and chips I've ever had...the owner and staff are amazing people...I highly recommend this place.

I took my 6 year old here yesterday for some birthday wings. the food was amazing. My daughter got treated like royalty & Duke even did some magic with her, which she's still talking about!! They also gave her a popsicle on the way out. I highly recommend going to Dukes. best wings around, amazing staff!! thank you for making her birthday special

What an interesting place. Seems like a neighborhood pub (Which it is) but with pretty damned good food. The breaded haddock was fantastic. The burger was classic and delicious. No draught beers here. Basic bar. We were gifted with “Local talent” breaking out in song with a couple of acoustic guitarists. Who knew Billy Joel and Lynyrd Skynyrd could sound so good, belted out.A highlight was meeting the chef (was that Duke himself?) and showing him our cross- country vehicle (Tesla is evidently a rare sighting in Sydney Mines).In the end, a great experience at Dukes!
