The Sydney eatery is a highly recommended stop for visitors and locals alike. The environment is warm and inviting. Servers do an excellent job. The seafood chowder and baby back pork ribs were very good. Fish and chips had just a bit too much breading. The Governor's Coffee was excellent.

Just had the most lovelest experience For my family and the food was out of this world the service I had The 10 oz steak just the way I love my steak it was done just right for me my lady had french onion soup was fantastic my daughter had a the chicken parmesan the desserts were absolutely delicious I highly recommend them the price was well worth it you have chefs preparing your meals please drop by you'll love the experience

Used to love Guv's, but something has definitely changed.We'd 4 meals, Chicken & Bacon Linguine, Fish & Chips, and 2x Governor's Pub Steak.The linguine was bitter with an overpowering wine flavour.The F&C was sadly fryed in old oil that should have been swapped out at least earlier that day.The steak was very good as were the fries, but the slaw was Sysco generic and in a puddle on the plate.Our server was top shelf. Nothing at all but good to say about our server & all the staff with whom we interacted.I see the overall review is at 4.6?s, and that's fantastic, to each their own, but from my experiences, this is poorly represented quality for the $$$.
