While in town, I decided to take my fiancé here for a Valentine's Day dinner. We both tried the “Surf-n-Turf”. I asked for a rare steak and was given an over cooked piece of leather. To make it worse, the “turf” portion consisted of two tiny shrimp and a cold scallop. On top, was a freezing cold bernaisse sauce that ruined the entire meal. Service was not good. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

My family and I love the old triangle.We have visited the Halifax and moncton locations numerous times . This was our first time visiting the Sydney location .We visited around 4pm on Saturday. There were no other customers in the restaurant or at the bar.The floor was super sticky to walk on.Service was fast .The fact that my burger was served to me on a cut-up dirty looking wooden cutting board was kind of gross. At least at other places, they put a wrapper over it first .I would have 100% preferred a plate .

sorry but I had a reservation last night for a birthday, my first and last time there. the cups were dirty the cutlery was dirty the drinks were not made right or not brought out at all, the apps were sent back because of arriving with the main course, the dirty cutlery was dumped on my best friend by the waitress. some food was brought to the wrong people , no ones food came out together the person waiting the longest had cold hard not edable food. my friend was told she'd get a discount for the multiple dirty cups and Forks and the dirty stuff dumped on her and her food given to someone else and then still made wrong but there was no discount when she asked the lady to 5$ off I paid almost 100$ for 4 of us so between the whole party we paid quite a bit to all be displeased with the evening. just thought you should be aware of our experience that's 12 people who will not be back.

You can never go wrong with an Irish Pub, and that rings true for the Old Triangle Irish Alehouse. Only stopped in for a drink, but we had great service and delicious drinks!
