“It's great. One of my top 3 Chinese restaurants in the province. Big portions, hot tasty food. I always get the s&s chicken, rice and egg roll combo and haven't tried much else except for black pepper beef so that's probably worth mentioning also, but they haven't let me down yet.”

“Every DQ I've been to in NS has microwaved their burgers. Even this one. Not to mention I've had that happen during low and high peak hours. Yet I've never had a microwaved burger at any DQ in 3 other provinces.That being said, I was stuck stopping here and upset that I was going to have to have a microwaved burger. I was extremely surprised that they didn't microwave it and it was fresh.Glad that I can finally change a review for a DQ in NS. In my opinion they have one of the best menu's for fast food and was always disappointed here in NS. I have one 2 min from my house in Truro and refuse to go because of their microwave happiness. Maybe I'll give them another shot too.Parking: Parking is plenty, but there is only about 5-6 right near the door. But this is due to it being a gas stop.”

“Oh man. Tried the harvest breakfast sandwich with the plant based sausage. Really good! I've tried plant based meats before, these are so much better. Can't even tell it's not meat. So good. Definitely recommend trying this. Always get a good coffee here, and always friendly employees! Clean store. Happy with my visits here always.”

“We had a group of 20 go there for a Christmas party this afternoon. The staff were excellent. Very nice and very organized. Everyone loved their food and everyone was served at the the same time. Hats off to the cooks they food was exceptional. I strongly recommend going to Harbour House Ales & Spirits if your in Pictou. It truly is the best restaurant in Pictou so please give them a try you won't be disappointed I assure you”

The gentleman serving us was an absolute angel ( sorry for forgetting getting your name! ) and totally helpful in guiding us through their products and allowing us both to get the strain we desired - only $100, too! “Everything about Slice of Home Bakery and Cafe is great. I’ve been going since they opened a few years ago and enjoy the delicious homemade food and friendly service. They have catered for me on two events and everything was excellent. They know their business. Their food portions are generous and the cost is very fair. I highly recommend Slice of Home. It’s a rare find!!!”

“Would have rated it higher but recent menu change warrant a lower rating from me. The last 2 times ordering Dan-Dan I noticed they had removed the peanut butter and nuts from the ingredients and substituted some type of hot spices. This changes the whole character of the dish and makes it quite hot which it was not before. I will be reluctant to order this again, but on the positive side, the cashew chicken is still great.”

Had the classic Jasmine Green Milk Tea with pearls, no ice, 30% sweetness and coconut. I've had bubble tea in different parts of the world and this was on par. My friend agreed! Pleasant discovery!”
