Cute family ran Chinese restaurant in downtown Yellowknife. The wraps (we got elk and duck) were good. Wonton and bubble tea were okay. Mapo tofu was terrible tho (just salty and oily firm tofu, very far from authentic taste). Price is a bit high for what we got, but good enough for the cravings.

It's on the third floor of the hotel where we stayed. It's very convenient. I ordered noodles with scallion oil, stir-fried venison, and pickled fish. They tasted great and the ingredients were fresh. I was so happy to have Chinese food.

Ate here because of good reviews. Sorry to say we were not impressed. Very slow (although friendly!) service. Took almost 2 hours from ordering to leaving so we missed the NYE fireworks. Food was not authentic and very salty and greasy.

This restaurant is on the third floor of a hotel. The service here is good, so the people are very friendly, and the female boss is also very chatty. The roast duck she recommended is really crispy and delicious! The stir-fried beef with broccoli and the two kinds of noodles ordered are very tasty and not greasy, and there are a lot of side dishes, very delicious! The eggplant tastes very good, but it's too oily. A lot of oil was poured on it when it was taken out of the pan and plated! The beef tendon in the cucumber salad was not cooked long enough, making it difficult to eat and the taste was too bland! The mapo tofu tastes good, not very spicy, but there is no minced meat in it. It lacks the meat flavor and is not very authentic! The twice-cooked pork is not good. Not only is the total quantity small, but the slices of meat are also pitiful! When we were ordering, the waiter said that the portions of the dishes here are quite large, but in fact they are just average. What is more surprising is the plate of twice-cooked pork. This portion should be the amount of rice bowl, not one. The amount of a plate of normal stir-fried vegetables can even be said to be less than the amount of a plate of cold dishes! In addition, the scallion pancake is very delicious and unforgettable!

I order duck wrap and pot stickers lunch and dinner. Prices are fair and food plentiful and service is great we enjoyed our stay and would recommend them for stay in Yellowknife.

The worst Chinese food we have ever had. I honestly have no idea how this restaurant has such good reviews. We ordered the mapo tofu and the honey bbq duck. The mapo tofu was too firm and the sauce did not taste anything like what you’d expect from the average mapo tofu. The honey bbq duck was also a bit too dry and it didn’t need the honey glaze to be honest. I get that this is probably one of the only few places to get chinese food in yellowknife, but at the same time I dont think it deserves the high reviews it’s getting.
