The host is quit nice and they do put lots of effort into their hotpot. This restaurant is decent and we will surely go back on next KY visits.

This is not a chinese food place. Part of the experience is sitting and socializing with friends and family while cooking your own food. For those who have no cooking skills or computer skills or easy going manner, this place should be avoided. You have to let the 'raw' meats boil until well done and you have to place your order using a tablet. NWT may have power outages and internet outages for brief periods of time which is not uncommon....have patience. If you don't know how to maneuver around an ipad or any other tablet, hand it to your kid or go to a fast food restaurant ....like McDs, or Arby's or Mary Brown's Chicken. I am from Toronto and was so happy to see a hot pot place here...regardless :D ....what fun!...brings back memories of fun times with coworkers and friends in downtown Toronto.

Service was unbelievably horrible!!!! They spoke only Chinese!!! because we had one Chinese speaker in our group. Even though i talked to English to server and the owner they responded in Chinese and they don’t even see me!! I felt so much ignored by them! Am I customer here? At first we thought they just not familiar with English but we saw the server was talking to another customers in English!! I can’t believe it. And there was machine for the menu, we should choose the ingredient for hotpot. But they didn’t explain anything and just go somewhere!! And the server didn’t come back so we WALKED to them to ask about it!!!! And they made a mistake and they asked us to choose the menu that we ordered in the machine again. After all they overcharged us and we paid it!! One of our friends knew that something is wrong so we came back to restaurant and asked for the refund of extra charging. Yes they did for us but there was NOT any apology for the mistake!!!!! Any sorry!!! And me and my friend didn’t paid tips because of lots of reasons in services. While they were making a refund, they asked us to pay tips!! How can they ask for the tips? And it was my first time to not paying tips in my life. They even tried to teach us. Seriously unbelievable service!! And the more important thing is the taste was also sucks. I’ve never tasted such a bad soup. It was tasteless hahahah Just please don’t go I don’t understand why they are so confidence and NEVER SAY SORRY We hope this restaurant is closed forever???

Very friendly and tasty family-owned hot pot restaurant. At first I was suspicious because the review was not as good (for some reason only three stars), but I was glad that I gave it a try! I would recommend to order the spicy soup base with spice aside so you can choose how spicy you would like it to go. The fried white fish is a must try! Some people complaint that they cannot speak English, but their menu is in English and it’s very clear how to order! Their iPad menu is very user-friendly. As long as you have experience making online order, it’s the same - click the item you want and it goes to the shopping cart and show you the total of money you order. Most importantly, I lost my phone there with all of my cards and driver license inside, the owners helped me find it and were very understanding how panicky I was. Sincerely recommended!

When we arrived it was quite good but the service was terrible. The workers didn't understand English at all and that made it really hard to communicate. The food was blunt and barely had flavour except their honey garlic chicken. One of the workers even shouted at us while we were trying to figure out what was the problem with our bill and I didn't appreciate that at all!

Horrendous gas smell right when you walk in. Someone should really check if it's safe for customers to dine here. The staff don't understand what customer service is. Why say you can customize for the combo hotpot if customers can't choose anything and there's no human to take your order? They force you to use an iPad which submits the combo order without any customization options. Probably because none of their waiters know anything about how to treat their customers. When I asked to talk to a live human being, they couldn't care less about what I wanted to order. Do not come here. Avoid the health hazard and horrible service
Excellent spot. Clean and well maintained, extremely fast service and very good food. Can be a little expensive, but definitely one of the best places to eat in town.
