Latinx soul food. SO GOOD. Great food Served with pride. Best the 4 of us had all week on our trip to Carson City. Charming little place with maybe 5 for four top tables. And a small counter. The atmosphere may not be for the Karen's of the world but I LOVE this place. Never change.

Totally outstanding! The best burrito in town, hands down. Fresh and hand made tortillas - meat is so delicious! Small space and they are busy - be patient because it is worth the wait!

Just fantastic tacos in a tiny but lovely, casual restaurant. The tortillas are particularly excellent. Highly recommended. If you speak a bit of Spanish, that will help.

I came to this place before a couple times it was really good. Today was awful. First, I tried to order a Pambazo aka torra but they didn’t have any bread after I ordered it then I said OK, Chilaquiles and eggs, which was literally tortillas with salsa and a little bit of sour cream and two eggs on the side, no beans, no rice, no cheese and it was Horchata on the side $22 and it was straight salsa it was super hot and of course no rice and beans so $22 awful I work so hard for $22. I would’ve eaten up McChicken for three dollars try to support small business. Straight disappointment

Very delicious food and at a correct price, handmade tortillas which gives a very rich flavor to everything, if you are in a hurry and not much money but delicious food there it is!Parking: It is not abundant but it is available next to the restaurant without problem

If you’re looking for authentic flavorful Mexican food, this is the best place by far in all of Reno Carson City, Sparks area! Everything we have tried has never disappointed us! Hand made tortillas! The menudo is cooked to perfection! My favorite is the gordita with chicharrón prensado and the quesadilla de flor de calabaza. The Cafe de Olla is a must! The portions are generous too!

Trying to decide on a lunch spot and picked Antojitos La Jefa and wow! We live close and drive by often but always seem to miss it as a choice. What a shame! This place rocks!! We ordered the 3 taco plate a couple tamales (one pork one chicken) and some empanadas (beef birria). The boss lady behind the counter was killing it! The place was packed with guys on break for lunch but she handled the rush like a true champ! She even makes the tortillas by hand per order! We will definitely be back again.
The carne asada burrito with EVERYTHING is so good. The lady here never disappoints, she knows how to make a good burrito. Ordering here is fairly quick & easy. The place here is cute and small, makes it feel more homely and family owned. You can tell she loves doing this & takes pride in her dishes.

Order the enchiladas and quesadillas both had an amazing taste to it. Cooked right in front of you. The sauce was delicious and asada had great taste. Great customer service

The tacos were great! Made with home made tortillas and large for size. I ordered 3 Al pastor and 2 carne asada for my daughter. The only reason I knocked down a star was because the lady serving us couldn't hear me because the music was too loud and she came off rude when asking what I wanted on the tacos. I don't expect to be treated like royalty when I go out to eat, absolutely not, but it would be nice to be served by someone who doesn't have an attitude. If I come back, I'd call for pick up.
