Carson Valley BBQ catered last night's volunteer appreciation holiday dinner at the Genoa Fire Department (Station 3). A good time was had by all! Our menu included delicious chicken, salmon, prime rib, plus the associated Caesar Salad, potato salad, beans, and bread. There was plenty of tasty food to go around, even as many heaping plates were observed. Line service by Carson City BBQ staff was efficient and fun. Complimenting the evening was an open bar, music, festive decorations and lots of community friends. All that tasty BBQ certainly added to all this Christmas spirit!

Carson City BBQ certainly lives up to its reputation of fantastic bar-b-que! They catered both the men's and the women's Genoa Lakes golf club functions and everybody raved about the food! The salad, Mac n cheese, and beans were very good but the brisket stole the show. The brisket was so tender with great flavor I am sorry I used any bar-b-que sauce! Phil and Michelle provided excellent and friendly service. Highly recommended!!

Phil and crew know how to cater an event and parties. The meats are always fresh & bbq'd perfectly, on site. He offers numerous sides to compliment the meat. His rub is awesome and can be used for many alternatives than the meat. Anything that needs a little spicing up. Try it on popcorn, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The pricing is well worth the professionalism, tasty foods and stress-free planning. Besides being a home-grown Carsonite Phil has made his community proud. Butler meats carries his rub too.

They catered my 80th birthday party. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Their prices reasonable.They provided, bbq chicken, tri-tip, potato salad, Cole slaw, baked beans, rolls, butter, plates, napkins and plastic silverware.The food was delicious. We picked it up. They even warmed up our cooler with hot water to transport the tri-tip and BBQ chicken.We heartily recommend this company. You can try them at BBQ events like the Rib Cook-off in Sparks every year.

Look the BBQ rib was pretty darn good. But when you have the price on the board and on the counter, why carve $2 more. Instead of 32 my card got charged $34. Not cool. Not cool at all. Hence 1 star.

We were all excited about trying the beef rib because in the pictures online it shows a huge piece of nothing but meat on the bone. We drove 100 miles to the Rib Cookoff in Sparks to try that specific rib which we paid $32.00 for, and we decided to buy a sampler plate. We voted to never eat from here again. The beef rib barely had any thick juicy meat on it and they took it upon themselves to add their own 5.00 tip which we were not told nor was it mentioned on the pin pad. It was overrated for what we ate. Sorry not sorry

First of all, Phil and Michele are awesome. Their service is just excellent. I was actually out of the country while trying to finish planning for my party. I was worried that I won't be able to pay for the remaining balance as I was on a cruise ship and I didn't have a way to give them my info, and wasn't scheduled to get back until a week before the party. Michele was very flexible, and agreed to take my payment info 4+ weeks before the party. The day of the party came, and their team came on time....and served on time. The food was amazing. All of my guests loved it, and as a bonus, they left me with 2 extra bottles of their sauces. I can't wait to see them at the rib cookoff in a month! I recommend Carson City BBQ for any bbq needs at your party.
