Delicious chicken!! If you havent tried it, do so. Make sure you go to a location that actually has a kitchen in it. Krispy krunch here are found in gas stations, if they dont have a kitchen it isnt fresh and you shouldnt bother.

I'll give this place points for being conveniently located in the gas station convenience store by our hotel. I will also preface that we came just after they shut down for the night so they had just packed up the remaining chicken in pre-set boxes to be sold in the convenience store. But man, those were bad tenders. I was trying to figure out what the texture reminded me of and I kept thinking jerky-- it was that dense and chewy. The flavor was okay, and I'm sure it would probably taste better if purchased fresh, but this was just my experience.

I called them on Saturday morning at 10:30. Someone answered and told me they were open. As I arrived to this place, no one was there but I saw a clerk/cashier/gas station attendance. He said they were short staffed so they decided to close on weekends. I do understand short staffed situation, but who answer the phone and telling me that they were open? I wanted to try their chicken but I do not know what day and time they are open.

Initially, I was quite excited to give this fried chicken place a try, as I've never heard of it before. I love me some fried chicken! I read a news article on the chain and it had rave reviews with locations all over the US, mostly located inside gas stations and convenience stores. Even little Carson City has one here inside the Golden Gate Petrol gas station! Lets see if they can beat grocery store deli fried chicken. I first entered and saw the menu ... wow, this chicken sure ain't cheap or any sort of deal for fast fried chicken. Reviews said the tenders were the best, so that's what I ordered. $14 inc. tax for 8 tenders. Seems kinda high, but what the hell. The service was fast and efficient and rung up at the register. Paid with credit and off I go with my chicken tenders. They looked fresh and hot enough in the heated case. I didn't want them to cool off, so I opened them up in the car outside. The tenders seemed a good size, bigger than grocery store tenders and with a nice coating of fried crunchy batter on the outside. They're supposed to be Cajun flavored .... well, OK, just a little. Injected before frying with spice mix. I will say the tenders were very juicy and moist and the coating crispy and a decent tasty experience. I'm not sure for me though, the price of $14 is worth it for just 8 pieces and no sides. The other menu choice to compare is the 8 piece mixed dark and white meat combo for a little over $15 bucks. Grocery store fried chicken 8 piece is around $8-9 dollars and is pretty tasty. I don't think I'll be getting this chicken again, just mainly on price value, when there are other options available. The product is good, I'll give it that. One other thing, the chicken is not available all hours that the gas station is open. They start putting it out around 10:30 and ends around 5pm or before sometimes.
