I ordered from them once for takeout. The chicken was so tough I had trouble chewing it. It was like leather and disgusting. My wife had picked up the order and brought it home. She had a shrimp dinner and said that her order was good. Because of my experience we have not gone back when there are so many other options available.

It's been a year since our last visit to La Salsa Grill, as we're not in Carson City much to dine out. We met our family friend here (it's his favorite local restaurant) for a spontaneous outing. The place is very friendly and Daphne was helpful and kind. I had the shrimp tostada (5/5) which was light, fresh tasting and delicious. Hubby ordered the fish and shrimp soup (5+/5) and our friend ordered the albondigas soup (5/5 from the sample he had me try), it's also his favorite! Hubby shared his soup with me too and it was really delicious. I will order that dish next time! We all loved our food. Flavors are great! Loved all the aloe plants and the festive decor as it makes it a very pleasant place to have a meal with friends. We'll be back!

Small portions on a large plate! Entree was good, rice and beans were NOT good. Soda glass had dried something in it! More chips cost extra, more than one refill of a soda cost extra. No guac or cream with the entree... Basically disappointed with every aspect of our meal.

Food is good. Prices are not good. This has happened more than once where we are asked to pay an insane amount and then the price is reduced to a more reasonable but still unreasonable amount. It's just odd.

Pleasantly shocked and surprised. Carne asada meal was excellent. Chips and salsa we're good too. Service could have been a little bit better. Staff was extremely friendly, but didn't really make much of an effort to check up on me. Dining room was clean and bright. All in all a very good experience. I definitely recommend this place.

The best Pasole in town, but takes a while to get the food. So I recommend you order before you go.

Yummm, I haven't been here in 10+ years due to food restrictions I've had with my health ... finally got to eat here again and YUM! I love the atmosphere & decor... and it's Just as good as I remember it. We both got the taco special. I got pastor & carnitas. Can't wait to come back. My friend loved his too, first timer. I'll be back
