We had the chomichanga and the enchiladas. The kitchen sent out a burrito instead and after I complained they insisted it was a chimichanga even though it had never been crispy in its life. The food was barely warm. The price would be reasonable for the quantity of food if the food had actually been what I ordered...and warm. Okay, if you happen to be in the casino but don't go out of your way for this.

Absolutely terrible. Was brought food we didn't order. Waitress took down wrong ingredients for orders, tried to blame us. Overheard she did to another table as well. Very bland to no taste to all plates. Watered down dips. Rice and beans tasted horrible. Kids plates are just as bad. They definitely dont skimp on the "fillers" instead of the real ingredients. Quality has definitely taken a downward turn for this one. They used be to awesome, but not worth the time... or money now.

We totally enjoyed our food. The service is very friendly. This was the second time for us. We have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant and we found it!

Waitress was less than attractive

We had a great experience here. We loved our “bowls” we ate. The servers were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Yesenia at the bar made us a special sangria that combined some of the red and white and we loved it and she liked the chance to be creative as well. We also got great hints for things to do in the area on our rest day from skiing.

We had a wonderful time at Olé Olé. The 3 of us enjoyed the bowls we had dinner. The tortilla chips were so fresh they were warm. We especially enjoyed the sangrias we had. Bartender Yesenia even made us a delicious sangria combo she came up with herself that she said was a mix of the white and red sangrias when we couldn’t decide which we wanted. Our server Dawn took good care of us and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I ate at the recently opened Ole Ole Restaurant located in inside the Gold Dust Casino for the first time on Jan. 8 and I was very pleased with the experience . The food was excellent , very well prepared and authentic , the atmosphere was relaxing and decorative , the staff was attentive and friendly , chips and salsa served immediately , my server Sara was very cordial and knowledgeable about the some what expansive menu and offered some excellent suggestions. Very tasteful fare with large portion , I had the sizzling shrimp fajita meal and it was delicious as well as very balanced and with a natural context , black beans rice and flour tortilla all well prepared , sizzling shrimp and fajitas were scrumptious . I certainly recommend giving Ole Ole a try . George Robinson

Our service was great for Susan. The food took some time to come out but it was worth the wait. I had the steak and chicken fajitas there where amazing. My boyfriend had the steak enchiladas he was over the moon about them. If you car in the carson city area it is a most have. P.s. the guacamole was so much more than I was expecting. ?

They just reopened 12/2022 and revamped the menu. Food was not good. Enchilada sauce was bitter and burnt and steak in the fajitas was like jerkey. Order came out wrong and missing ingredients.Service was good. The hostes/manager was great and tried to fix the issues. The server was good and had a good personality. It's to bad they changed all the food.I know I won't be going back.

If you need to extend your stay PLEASE check the rate. I forgot and they charged double what we were paying previous 3 days. They would not change the rate so now they lose customers. I guess they know what they’re doing

I planned to stay here so my grandchildren and I could have fun at the arcade, bowling alley as well as being in a comfortable room with a decent television. Last night when I checked in, the clerk (a very kind woman) didn't tell me that the arcade and bowling alley would be closed for the duration of my stay but did tell me that I wasn't allowed to bring in any outside food of any kind. So believing her, my son left us at the hotel with the children not allowed snacks or fluids with electrolytes to stay hydrated. Why have refrigerator and microwave in a room where no food is allowed? Why advertise that this is a "family-friendly" resort when clearly it is not?

Firs off, when I booked this hotel I did not realize it was a casino so I should have known better. The entire place smells of old smoke and there is no way to get around it. Our room as far from the casino but the smoke just permeates everything. The facility itself was fine and the staff friendly. A free breakfast was included with the price of our room and its was good if basic eggs, bacon and potatoes.
