This place is awesome. The manager is always friendly and polite. The store is clean and they get through the line efficiently. This is one of the best port of subs I’ve been to.

This is the absolute cleanest port of subs I have ever been to! The owner is so clean, organized and fast! I have had bad experiences before at port of subs not using gloves. She always has plastic gloves on, the sandwich station is always clean, organized and full too! She takes pride in her work and does an excellent job too!!

Hardly any meat on my sub and I even asked to pay more for extra. Got home and unwrapped it and was very disappointed.

I love port of subs but yet another location I won't be returning too. Staff makes you feel rushed, doesn't put what you ask for and if you do ask for more the drowned it in whatever you asked for. When I asked for american cheese, they gave me Cheddar thinking I wouldn't know the difference brought it back in and had to argue with them that I told them american not Cheddar and they kept say it's Cheddar. I didn't want Cheddar! ?‍♀️ sandwich was mediocre at best with them making it.

Decent place to grab a quick lunch or bite to eat. A little spendy. Expect to pay around $12 for a footlong sandwich.Vegetarian options: You can choose to get veggies on your sandwich.Parking: Lots of parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have a wheelchair accessible entrance.Dietary restrictions: When it comes to choosing what you want, this is the place to fulfill your dietary needs.

Had a coworker go pick up some sandwiches. I ordered the Gourmet Grilled Cheese. According to online ordering, it comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, vinegar, olive oil, oregano, salt.. These are shown on the menu as standard and even in the photograph. I asked for pickles to be added. The sandwich was a plain grilled cheese smashed flat with nothing on it. When I called the store, I was told that I have to specify every ingredient that I want on it, even though the menu shows them as *standard.*If you have to ask for every ingredient to be added, the restaurant should at least tell you that. I was told that the sandwich was literally thrown into the bag which explains the appearance.

2nd time this place refuses to provide what's on the menu. At every Port of Subs I've ever been to, breakfast sandwiches are served ALL day, except this the first time I ordered from here is was late afternoon and I practicallyhad to get beg for her to make a breakfast sandwich. This time at 1130 am she says "we don't have eggs right now. " Funny, when I worked at port of subs that was one thing we always had on hamd. You need eggs to make your brownies, and other items. I guarantee you, she has eggs. She just has a phobia of salmonella, which she told me last time I was here. Such a bummer to have to ban this place for my company lunches. All because of laziness.

This mexican lady and indian lady is so bad at costumer service. They were rushing me to order and it’s my first time coming here so i needed time to look at the menu. That was just rude smh and I don’t wanna come back here anymore…

I sometimes lose track of national sandwich chains, as they all seem to run together. My business with a particular franchise location is situational to the a moment and/or location. For example, the Subway in Milford IA is usually associated with washing it down with a beer from the nearby West O. There's also a Jimmy Jack's near my Dad's place in Ames that I stop by before heading off to the nearby Alluvial Brewerey. Yesterday's visit to this Port of Subs location revolved around trip to Home Depot (across the parking lot), my Son finding his ID, and him suggesting that we eat something while we're at the Genoa Bar. You think there's a sandwich shop and alcohol theme going on here? I chose a 5" Tuna Sub (on wheat), while David opted for their 8" meatball item (on Sourdough). Our selections were made quickly and efficiently and tasted pretty good with our subsequent adult beverage choices. Although it was kind of "same old - same old" in terms of chain sandwich shops, we were happy enough with the convenience of this shop (for what we were doing), relative price, and the quality/taste of our subs.
