Played golf for the first time. Great course. Challenging, and beautiful. The food and service in the club house is top notch. The wings and quesadilla were delicious. Thank you Kim and Megan.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. It is always in great condition. The bar and restaurant is decorated with old gas pumps and antique memorabilia. They have a good menu for lunch at great prices.

Overall great place to play and have a beer at the Bar.

Front 9 a lot of elevation changes. Honestly, beyond my abilities on a cold and windy day. Back 9 more traditional. 150 yardage stakes helpful.

Pace of play very slow! Playing as a twosome with a threesome in front of us for 7 holes. No Marshall except when we started...price to play this course is too high......not worth $65......maybe $40.....

Course is looking really good for being under snow for so long.

I had a great time playing this course. From the beginning the driving range was pretty unique. There are 50s vintage cars sticking out of the ground as targets on the range. That made it fun plus I like older cars-so win win for me. The practice green gave a good feel of how the true greens were rolling that day. The condition of the tee boxes are usually the tell-tale sign of how the rest of the course will be. I was not disappointed! There were some forgiving fairways along with some more challenging. A couple holes were steep uphill settings, which really challenge your club selection. I birdied number 12 from 85 yards out (now being changed to #3) which always makes you realize why you play this game. Greens were beautiful with a little challenge here and there due to pin placement. The setting is a lush oasis of deep green grass and nicely mown fairways amidst the sandy desert background. The back nine takes you on a mountain tour with sweeping views of the course and desert below. Pace of play was monitored and kept by the course marshal. He was a very friendly guy and gave pointers for a few spots for newcomers. Overall I would give the course a 4.5, so I moved it up to 5 as halves are not options here. I will golf Silver Oak next time I visit Carson City.

First visit there and we will definitely be back. Loved the challenge of the course . It's layout offers a Little bit for everyone. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to eat there, but will make a point to do so next time. It's conveniently located to CVI, where we stayed.

Nice scenery but… i went out early at 730am and i played the back 9 without flags. Why? because the staff was still getting the course ready.you’ll find geese poo everywhere!lastly, the cart path ends is the most random places. unless you know the course, you won’t know where to drive (my first time playing)overall, average course. based on the prices online, probably too expensive for what it is

Loved this course. Tucked up at the northern end of Carson City, quite the gem. Front nine and back nine play completely different. Front is flat layout. Back is a climb up.Will defines play here again when visiting. Oh and I forgot to mention, the club house and driving range is automobile themed. Old gas station relics, old cars, and a 50's inspired diner look in the club house. Will probably ho there just for lunch, looks fun.

Went for my nephew's 50th birthday celebration. Staff was very friendly. Service at the open bar was very good and the variety of food was great. Enjoyed the band and also liked being able to go out on the patio. Had handicapped walkway.

Super fun super chill course, not super packed or highly regulated like all other courses, no tee time necessary if you show up they ll get you on. Staff is super friendly and cool. The course is in good shape for the price and the layout is very unique with a good mix of challenging and easy holes.
