They have wine bottles everywhere, but served a table wine that was cheap and not good. I asked for a wine list, they had none, asked for a choice of Cabs I got Bogle that’s the only Cab. My husbands NY Strip was not, it was about 1/2” thick and tasted like beef jerky. The Salmon kinda blah with 3 pieces of asparagus….i don’t ever write reviews but I wouldn’t want anyone to waste time and money, disappointed

Wow we waited over an hour for them to serve us. We were a party of 5 and the service we received is the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant. An hour after placing our orders we were told that they were out of short ribs. No one even came to the table to explain themselves for the delay in receiving any service. Not impressed with this visit.

Another restaurant I haven't been to in years. But boy, I am so glad we came here to celebrate a family member's birthday.Needless to say, they have room for special events and private parties. So if you are looking for a venue keep them in mind. The Prime Rib was outstanding. Indeed, it was the best Prime Rib I have had in a very long time. Our waiter and the Maitre de were outstanding. They made us all feel so welcome and almost like we were family. We all are still raving about the Prime Rib.There is something so wonderful about a place treating you like family. The human connection is something we all want. It is so awesome to feel appreciated and connected to our world and others. The staff here were outstanding. Everyone commented on the service we received. The appetizers and salads were tasty. The family members who had the salmon said it was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Portions are generous. All of us remarked on how good the food was. Not to mention, the price was right. The ambiance might be a little lacking. There are no tablecloths. However, keep in mind that tablecloths come with a cost of their own. They need to be laundered and then some need to be replaced. So there would be an added cost.So the question is would you prefer a little more ambiance or a cheaper price for an excellent meal? However, if you are looking for excellent service with delicious food at a reasonable price then this is the place for you.Not to mention, that the drive to Carson is beautiful. Plus there are plenty of things to do in Carson to enjoy. Perhaps it is time to beckon back to a slower pace of life. Take a nostalgic trip to Carson to see the Capitol all decorated for Christmas. Stop in at the Nugget and enjoy a dinner at the steakhouse.I wish I could remember the name of the Maitre de and Waiter I hope that management sees this review and gives the KUDOS and a big SHOUTOUT for delivering such great service. THANK YOU BOTH from my family.

This place ought to have much more business than it does. Food and service were excellent, ambience very good. Prices better than reasonable. Cabernet Sauvignon house red wine is good. House salad very good. I usually have the chicken parmesan. Both the chicken and pasta were very good, and the rich, deep red Marinara excellent, probably the best I've ever had. Easily the best Italian in Carson City (and probably a lot further), and quite a bit less expensive.

I received a free Prime Rib meal from the Carson City Nugget for Angelinas. 1st off, the service. Hostess were nice, had a bit of a wait which was fine. We were told that the chef was on vacation. Should have just left then. Then after being seated and given menus, they came and took them back and gave us this paper revised menu since the head chef was out. Our actual waitress was Chelsea and she was fantastic. If not for her, I would give 0 stars if possible. The restaurant itself we really did not get to see much as we were tucked away in the 1st dining area by the entrance. No worries. It was nice and quaint inside and that's about where it stopped!! I asked about bread, and a different lady brought us 2 rolls that were barely room temp. Basically went from bag to bowl. We ordered our prime rib medium. As anything over that gets tough. We also ordered it with broccoli and when it arrived it had inedible asparagus. I mean they were so fibrous we could barely cut through them. Chelsea apologized and brough us out some broccoli on the side, and just like the rolls, it was barely room temp. Not her fault by no means. Now onto the very overly cooked prime rib. There was 0 pink in it. It was well done and very tough. It was also barely 1/4 inch thick. I mean the thinnest prime rib I have ever seen for supposedly being a 9oz. I have had 8oz at other restaurants twice the size of what we were served.. I managed to cut a couple pieces for my husband to eat. I dd not eat any of it. Basically we sent the majority of it back when we left. The only plus thing about this visit was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Still luke warm at best. I ate about 3 bites of food and was done with it. It was the worst prime rib I have ever seen/tasted in my life. Now Chelsea went and got our receipt for us, which of course was no charge, but if it was, I would have never paid 22.99 for what we received. It was that bad. Chelsea apologized several times and like we told her, you do not control what comes out on these plates. So yes she did get a nice cash tip for being such a sweet waitress and trying to do what she could. As far as the restaurant, we will not be going back for anything there. It is also only open Friday and Saturday from 4-close. I came home and made a sandwich for my now late dinner!

Nice ambiance and okay service. The food was good but for this nice of a restaurant to only offer a cheap house wine ( and I mean cheap- $6 for big bottles at Walmart) and all other options by the bottle- I won't come back.

Despite living in Carson for 5 years I had never gone here. It's a little restaurant inside the nugget. We went fairly early, so there weren't very many people there and it was quiet. I think there was only one waitress but she did a great job checking in on us. The menu is fairly small but isn't just pasta. I got the chicken parmigiana with a cup of clam chowder. This was probably the best clam chowder I've ever had. The portions were large and I definitely had leftovers. The chicken parmigiana was good. I'm really picky about my meat, but no complaints. They also brought us a little appetizer that I guess they were trying out. Overall it was a nice meal, not super fancy, but the food was good and staff was great.

This is by far the worst overpriced restaurant in Carson. The service sucked but I figured give them a break they might be new to food service. But when the food came, a salad with ranch and lasagna. An order you would think might hard to really mess up. Well, unless you're into very limp lettuce and really soggy croutons.. the salad was awful. And $19.95 for a small piece of what I am guessing is frozen lasagna, then go somewhere else! Safe your money and time and find a decent place to eat in town!

House salad was freshly made with spring mix rather than your typical iceberg lettuce. Also had more toppings than most. We especially liked the craisins ? Vegetables were also fresh and delicious. The meatballs were delicious. Mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious. The only reason for the 4 stars is the filet mignon was a bit charred on the outside but good inside, the heat might have just been too high. Our waitress was awesome! Very sweet young girl that was attentive, patient and welcoming.

I never had anything on the menu that wasn't extremely good. Has a nice quiet atmosphere in the tables are really comfortable. The prices are on the moderate high end but well worth it.

Terrible experience I made reservations at Angelina's for Saturday September 17th for 630. We arrived about 15 minutes late. We were seated against the back wall at my request. The restaurant was completely empty. The waitress came and took out wine order. She arrived with a bottle of wine. She took my friends glass and noticed it was dirty. At that time she picked up another glass and that too was dirty. She then slammed the bottle of wine on the table. It was awful and caught us off guard. While sitting at our table we could hear arguing going on with the staff, several "F"bombs being used. At that time we had enough and when the waitress can to take our order I informed her this was very unprofessional and we would pay for our wine but no way were we going to stay for dinner. I have never ever left a restaurant before, my first time. I will never go back. Terrible experience. Was supposed to be a special night out and it was a disaster.
