Don't let the outside of this little gem dissuade you from trying it!! The AYCE sushi, includes appetizers, soup/salad and lots of choices of sushi! All for a very reasonable price!! We love the crisp shells of the crab wontons, the crab & cheese app is delicious, as are the crab & cheese jalapeno bites!! There are a lot of rolls, all have a different taste. The products they use are wonderfully fresh, even here in the middle of the desert. Sashimi is included for the dinner price Service is quick, they do tend to get incredibly busy... so patience occasionally is needed, but not often. Their shrimp fried rice is the best I've ever had!! We love it!! Thai tea is another favorite... Highly recommend!!!

Love Blue Moon! Their AYCE menu is great and allows for sashimi which I never see at AYCE. Miso soup, tempura veggies and shrimp, seaweed salad, and Mussels are all really good and fresh. I primarily eat nigiri and all their fish I've ate is super fresh and delicious. Never any fishy taste. Salmon, Blackened Tuna, Seared Steak, Yellowtail, Albacore and shrimp are all tasty options.

WARNING!⚠️Not as good as the reviews say, iv been there twice and it only got worse.I figured id give them another try but ended up very disappointed. The sushi for lunch has alot of imitation crab in it, and only a tiny piece of shrimp to go with it. Barley any flavor and after i made a complaint about my king kong having a super tiny piece of shrimp but fully packed with crab. Not to mention there was a hair in it as well so i had to return it. Didnt take a picture because i never thought i would have to write a review. After experiencing what i witnessed, i think people should know.Sunrise roll i believe it was had no flavor at all! The young waiter gave me some weird looks accompanied by the chefs because i mentioned this. Although i tried to brush it off and just tried to have a great lunch. Sorry to say but the food coming out after the complaint began to taste funky and old. I was scared to try anything else so i just ended my lunch, with a stomach ache and super disappointed.Flavorless rolls, old tasting fish, way too much crab, very unprofessional, depressing building, sketchy young waiter, fishy chefs, definitely never ever going back. Iv been eating sushi for 18 years, tried atleast 30 different spots, 3 different states. Sadly blue moon is at the bottom of my list with no regret besides walking in there. Sad that Elko has very few selections for sushi but i would recommend taking a trip to Reno for the best sushi ever. Atlantis sushi bar 10/10 stars, Ohana sushi 10/10 stars, Tokyo sushi and grill 9/10 stars, sushi rose 8.7/10 stars, sushi one 8/10 stars. Very professional, clean, and delicious sushi!!Worth the drive hands down! 4 hours away!Blue moon sushi elko 1.2/10 stars and thats only because i enjoyed the miso soup.

Food and service were ok, but what is with the atmosphere? No music, no decor, walk into nothing and get led to a backroom... it's just odd.
Exceptial service, delicious food. Far and away the best asian restaurant in town, the staff is friendly and they are quick on bringing out your food. I also consider the price for what you get pretty reasonable, definitely worth a visit if you have an itch for Japanese food.

I love this place! The food, the workers, almost everything!! The only thing I would really change is maybe putting more decorations up or something to cut down on the echoing of the normal interactions going on throughout the building. The echoing just makes it a very loud place. Other than that, Fantastic!!!Vegetarian options: I honestly do not knowDietary restrictions: I ignore my dietary restrictions and just willingly suffer (highly acidic foods like fruits)Parking: Plenty of parking on both a dirt lot and paved lot. Wheelchair/handicap parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!!!!
