I saw the response from management, so I added this to the beginning and added to this. It’s an interesting response. ? I came in and sat with my family. We ordered some appetizers and since I walked to the bar to say hi to a co worker, then I came back and ordered my drink and appetizers. Appetizers showed up, no drink, family ordered. Food showed up finally someone brought a drink. I screwed myself by waiting for my drink to eat, by that time the dipping sauce was gone, and I hadn’t gotten the extra sauce I ordered, so I didn’t get to enjoy what it ordered for myself. 20mins went by still no sauce. I can cook just fine for my self, I go out for the experience/service. Oh they comped the root beer. Here’s the 1/3 of the app I missed out on because sauce is difficult to bring someone. (In response to your response.) Ok no. I came back from the bar. I ordered the appetizer. I was there as they were eating it, waiting for the root beer I asked for when I sat down. Before I sat down, all that had been ordered was tea and water. The appetizers showed up, no drink. The sauce wasn’t enough for the onion due to the consistency being thick. 90 percent seems ambitious considering the picture. I ate a bit without sauce, no comped sauce showed up. I waited for it. I gave up. Sounds like you are misinformed. I was wanting to order more food, however I choose not to because of the slow service. I was clear I wanted more root beer, which you comped. You can’t comp sauce you never brought. So seeing as how you tried to make it sound like my review isn’t a legitimate take on my experience, I’d like to point out your response, as far as customer service goes it speaks for itself. No one was like sorry or anything, just “this was the best we could do” you wasn’t really that busy.i like how you brought up the bar. I don’t drink, and my family waited on me to come back to order together.

The French melt may be the best sandwich I've ever had. Better than any steak sandwich or philly. Truly amazicle. I ordered a second! Sides were also good. Our server was a good sport with my bad jokes.

I like the bar area, pretty chill. The food in the restaurant ain't bad either. Prob go to the bar to catch up with friends, small/medu tvs for sports.. There's pool tables. I love wine. Their wine glasses are small lol they look like kids play wine glasses. Service is quick, waiters and bartenders are nice people!

Drinks are always great tasting. However, the price is similar to a fine dining experience than a grill and taphouse dining experience. Food is always good, especially appetizers. The artichoke dip and onion blossom is always a good go-to choice at Matties. When ordering a burger, the sweet potato fries are a great side dish choice and a healthier alternative to french fries. Service is a hit or miss depending on how busy the restaurant is and the day of the week and time you go. It's worth going to when wanting a good burger and out doing shopping or getting ready to see a movie.

I had their version of a patty belt. Their take on it was fantastic. Well worth trying. My friend had the macaroni and cheese with grilled chicken and there was plenty of chicken and it was amazing

Matties is a great place to get consistently good food. The restaurant is clean, the seating is nice, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Great place to go get lunch or dinner with family or friends. Lots of good items on the menu.Lately service has gone done a bit, especially when getting your food after having your order taken. It's taking significantly longer than it used to, probably 2-3 times longer. No explanation is provided. Aside from that, the place is great!
