Everything was great until I got to the window and I heard what I believe was the manager question the young women working the window, Briana, as to why she had given me a drink carrier. I had ordered three small plain ice creams for my dogs that he couldn't see in the carrier (especially once she had handed it to me), as well as a drink and a shake for myself. She did a great job and was polite and considerate in even asking me about it but his micro managing was obnoxious and having experienced it myself, I can say, only serves to make a worker's job twice as hard. It instantly irritated me and made me feel bad for her. Definitely killed the otherwise great experience.

The food is great the service isn't worth it s*** they're too busy visiting to do their job
Our order was pretty simple, #2 with a LARGE drink, kids meal with a water, and a footlong chili cheese coney with onions and no bun.We got old chicken strips, they were hard as a brick and cold. (Pic attached) The large drink was a medium and the coney was in a bun, burnt, no onions and cold all the way through.I didn't bother sending it back, bc I doubt it would've been correct. The kids meal was gross so it went straight to the trash, and we're headed down the street for something my daughter can it.We drove 3 hours specifically for sonic and it was a huge disappointment. Will not be making that mistake again.

Yesterday, I travelled to Fallon, Nevada to purchase a “new to me horse barn shelter”. It was late in the afternoon as we were heading back to Elko County, we decided to stop at Sonic. This was my very first time to eat at a Sonic. I’m happy to report that the food was good, prices very reasonable and the service was outstanding. Isabel welcomed us with a friendly and happy personality. She offered recommendations and processed our order efficiently. Plus, she brought a surprise whipped cream treat for my pup! Great job!

Not the nicest joint in town. Kind of dirty, no asking what type of condiments I wanted, just through ketchup in my bag for a corndog. I had to park, go in and ask for mustard. Frustrating.

Kudos to the super early morning staff today. Somehow they got a Door Dash order well before opening hours. I drove in thinkg, "This place is closed, but why is the Open sign blinking. Then I saw staff in the back. I slowly circled around and a lady came out to greet me and tell me they Turned On the Open Sign for Me!! But not just me. This meant the customer got their food on time and I didn't lose half an hour of my life texting someone who speaks basic English as an elective. The fact that this store cared enough to not turn away business and a driver over a mistake they had every right to turn me away for speaks volumes of the type of people that work here! I would gladly give them my business in the future even if they had an hour long line.

So never been to or had Sonic before, basically our first time and was expecting to have a great experienced. Unfortunately did not meet our expectations. As we drove about 25 minutes from Fernley to Fallon and arrive the restaurant for some reason it looked abandoned and so we weren't sure if this place was even open for business. As to what we have seen on social media videos and commercials we parked on the drive up menu screen and pushed the button for service and no response for about 10 minutes so I got off to ask how are we suppose to order or was it just by drive thru and the 2 employees looked at me confused and one responded we will be out shortly and I was like ok. Another 5 minutes pass and an employee comes out with a clipboard and of course she apologizes and explains how all the drive up screens haven't been working for a long time now. Not to mention their ice cream machine broke down that morning so we didn't even get to try their famous shakes. It's okay I know it's not the employees fault but management should look into this and give this employees more help. The food was great but honestly wasn't worth it.
