EXCELLENT service and delicious food. Hubby had the chili cheese burger which was the daily special. He stated it was the best burger he’s ever had! The burger was seared on the outside giving it a great crust and juicy inside, lots of flavor. The chili was an excellent compliment. He only wished there were more French fries. I had the brick chicken with double veggies, no potato. Chicken and veggies were excellent, a perfect portion. The sauce was so good! We look forward to returning when we’re in the area.

Front desk suggested good pub food. We had a wonderful dinner, good selection of local and regional beers. Service was good and clients in the dinning room added lively conversation to the evening. One gentleman was a regular and judging by the quality of the food, portions and pricing, we can see why

Servuce was good but we are still wondering why we weren't told about the date night special dinner for 2. I am assuming you have to be a regular there and know the server. As it turned out what we ordered was way too spicy for me and the sausage platter very dry. The calamari appetizer was well over cooked but tasted okay. We left a lot of uneaten food which is very not like us.

We were early for our reservation, but we're seated immediately. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the soup, I had the Basque Veg cup and my husband had a bowl of French onion. Mine was great, but husband said it was bland and too many onions. He ordered the Burnt ends Flatbread and I got the go to burger, no cheese. They were both very good and my husband took one home-therr were three. My side was the sweet potato fries, very tasty. The wait staff was attentive as well. We would definitely recommend and would return.

While visiting family member in Gardnerville they invited us to Overland Restaurant for lunch. It was such a nice experience we also had dinner there the next day. I ordered fish tacos both time. They were very good. But we also had appetizers to share. I especially liked the fried Brussels sprouts and some cheese nuggets. In 1902 the building started out as a meat market and then it was converted to a hotel, restaurant and pub that catered to the Basque sheep herding community in Carson Valley. The historic building was apparently remodeled in 2013 to become the present restaurant. They did a great job leaving the beautiful old brick walls and the wood floor. Some of the old doors were also incorporated into the restaurant. Please notice the old overhanging doors seen from the terrace. The staff was friendly and efficient. Masks were worn and social distance observed. I recommend the restaurant.

This was a great place for dinner. We were staying in Genoa and needed dinner. This place is not too far and had lots of varity. I had Shrimp Scampi and my wife had a sauage dinner.

The accoustics increased the noise made by an already rowdy clientele. We finally decided it wasn't worth it to have our expensive, well-prepared dinner ruined by a bunch of customers who belong at a Chucky Cheese.

They told me I could get grilled not battered cod for my fish tacos, so I purposely did not take the discount they offered. That didn't happen and they were bland. I don't recommend the fish tacos which is what my husband got also. His side of onion rings were good.
