“The town of Genoa Nevada. The oldest town in Nevada. The Genoa bar and saloon. It is a one of a kind old time bar. Its' history is rich. The decor and building much the same as a hundred years ago, alebit electricity, juke box, and pool table. The bar counter rigid and worn. Ginger the bartender was friendly and warm. For me a Budweiser and a couple of shots of makers whiskey.Square dancing night across the street. In all a fantastic time. A place you need to visit if you like history and bars with gritParking: Ample free parking lot and both sides of street.“
“My husband & I visited Iggy & Squiggy from a recommendation. We met the owners; Iggy and Squiggy, very nice gentlemen. We visited after work so it was after 5pm. They're short staffed, like so many places around, the kitchen wasn't open but they were kind enough to offer us pizza since that was the only food available at the time. We ate our pizza, had a few beers & enjoyed good company. They didn't try to rush us out even though it was after closing time. (We lost track of time in good company) When we realized the time we wished them Good Night. We will definitely be back to visit them again.“
